We have two of the better teams in the league facing off, even though one is slipping. The Atlanta Dream will take on the Seattle Storm at Climate Pledge Arena. These two teams met last month and the Storm snuck out a one point win.

Seattle is 16-16 this season and 8th in the league. They had a hot start to the season and have since slipped, coming in on a five game losing streak. The Storm are 3-7 in their last ten games and are 8-8 on the road so far.

Offensively, this team is rather stacked from Sky Diggins to Nneka Ogwumike and Gabby Williams to newly acquired Brittney Sykes. They only rank 8th in points per game, but are 4th in the league for field goal percentage.

On defense, the have Ogwumike grubbing boards along with Ezi Magbegor and rookie Dominique Malonga as big bodies. This team has all the makings of a good team, but they just can't seem to find ways to win lately.

The Dream are 20-11 and are tied with the Liberty for second best in the league. They come into this game on a five game winning streak after a nice win over the Mercury. Atlanta is 8-2 in their last ten games and 10-7 on the road this season.

This team has been firing on all cylinders this season. I have been a huge doubter of them and have called them frauds, but it might be time I take them seriously. Atlanta has shown they can play with the big guns of the league as be a good team on the road.

Atlanta ranks in the top five of the league for points, rebounds, assists and three point percentage per game. They also have the second best offensive rating in the league. They can ball on offense but it's a two way game.

On defense, this team has the second best defensive rating and turn the ball over the least in the league. Protecting the ball is so critical go a good game and these ladies get that. Let's check out the odds and get into the Dream vs. Storm picks.

Very close spread in this one and for good reasons. Seattle is really due for a bounce back win and at home could be the spot. But with that said, it's the Dream tonight. You can take the moneyline if you want as it's not terribly juiced.

Atlanta has been playing so well, it's hard to deny. Their defense has been locking teams down and I see it happening again here. Seattle also protects the ball well, but struggle big time on the boards, giving the Dream the advantage.

Give me Brionna Jones to record 19 or more points and rebounds combined for -110. She has finally coming back to life, hitting the mark in four of her last five games. Jones has been clearing it without a problem as well, hitting 20 or more in all four games. She also hits 78% of the time vs. Seattle.

The other play I like is Allisha Gray to get 26 or more points, rebounds and assists combined for -118. Gray has been leading this team, especially since Howard's injury that she has returned from. Hit in her last five straight games and three straight vs the Storm.
