It's WNBA Christmas today and a Merry to all who celebrate. There is a six-game slate today, putting just about most of the league playing in one day. We have two early games followed by four-night games, with one being late night.
We have the Mercury playing the Sparks and the Lynx facing the Storm in the afternoon slots. Then, the Sky take on the Liberty, and the Mystics host the Aces in the 7pm EST spots. At 8pm EST, the Sun and Fever tip of and ends with the Wings taking on the Fire in Portland.
Packed day and lots to dive into. Let's get into the Best Bets for today in the WNBA.

WNBA Best Bet #1: Kelsey Mitchell to record 23 or more points (-125)

Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell goes up for a layup in a game vs. the Mercury this season.
We're backing Kelsey again because how can we not? She is continuing to tear the league apart on the way to the break. Mitchell is currently averaging a team high 23.3 points per game on 49.5% shooting from the field.
The line is her average and she's coming off back-to-back 30-point games. She has hit this point line in eight of her last ten games and has crushed in five of those games, three being 30-point games. This chick is an absolute walking flame right now.
This is a weak team they're facing. The only thing that concerns me is a blowout, but if there is one then she'll be a big part of it. There is no one on the Sun that can stop her or even compete with her, especially with Caitlin Clark playing alongside of her.

WNBA Best Bet #2: Jessica Shepard to record 13 or more rebounds (-115)

Dallas Wings forward Jessica Shepard comes down with the rebound in a game vs. the Aces this year.
We're headed to the last game for this one. One of the leagues nicest surprises of the season has been the success of the Dallas Wings. They will be taking on the Portland Fire, and I know exactly who we're going to.
Give me Jessic Shepard to grub and get all the boards. We're taking her for 13 or more rebounds tonight and it's a great spot for her. Shepard is having a fantastic first season with the Wings, averaging 14.8 points, 11.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
The Fire are one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to rebounding. Shepard isn't just good overall, but she's a strong and big body down low to box out. The Fire have no answer for that I expect her to hit this line easily. She has hit in her last three out of four games and once vs. Portland this season.
WNBA Best Bet #3: Kayla McBride to record 21 or more points (-125)

Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride puts up a floater in a game vs. the Merucry this season.
Another player who's on beast mode. We're going back to Kayla McBride to get her points line today in Seattle. McBride is averaging 18.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Despite her season averages, she is absolutely getting buckets right now.
In her last seven games, she is averaging 27.7 points per game. Her lowest point total across those games was 23 points with two 30-point games. She is just coming off a 33-point performance from Minnesota's first game of their back-to-back with Seattle.
I don't see her not getting her points line again. The Storm were able to more than keep up with Minnesota, so the Lynx should be looking to demolish them this time. Either way, McBride is going to continue to be a focal point of this office and take us to the cash counter, again.
