Only two games for us to dive into tonight. The Portland Fire are heading to Connecticut to take on the Sun, and the Washington Mystics go north of the border to play the Toronto Tempo. Both of this year's new franchises take the court on the same night.
I've found three plays that I really like. One's a newbie, one's a go to and the other – well, we'll see what happens. Weird schedule with an 11am EST start and then an evening game. Let's dive into the Best Bets for today in the WNBA.

WNBA Best Bet #1: Bridget Carleton to record 3 or more three pointers (+100)

Portland Fire guard Bridget Carleton gets pumped up after nailing a three-point shot.
We're going with a new name on the year. Give me Bridget Carleton to record 3 or more three pointers. Carleton was with the Minnesota Lynx but was sent to a first-year franchise, the Portland Fire. She is averaging 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2 assists per game this year.
Carleton has been known for her three-point shooting. She is only shooting 37.2% on the year but has been hot as of late. Carleton has hit her line in her last two games and her last three out of four games. In her last game, she had 12 points and they came from four three's.
Even in their first year, Portland looks better than Connecticut. This is a decent matchup for her against a struggling team. She has the experience to be able to cut up a team like the Sun, and the volume will be there as she's shot 7 or more attempts in four of her last five games.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Kiki Iriafen to record 11 or more rebounds (-115)

Washington Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen gets herself open and looking for the pass.
"Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding?" – oh sorry. We're rinse and repeating with one of our favorite players. Kiki Iriafen cashed in the first half for us the other night and I love her boards again. She is averaging 15.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game in her second season.
This is a great matchup for the kid. She is going up against a team that ranks the worst in rebounding and is also playing extremely well. Now that they raised her line by one, she has only cleared in her last four out of six, but those two games, she had 9 and 10.
The Mystics will come in off a nice win on Sunday over the Storm. They'll be looking to carry that momentum right into this game and make it back-to-back wins. Kiki will have to do her job for that to happen, and I think we see just that.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Marina Mabrey to record 24 or more points (-115)

Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey looks out to the crowd after hitting a big shot at home.
For the last play, we're staying in the later game. Give me Marina Mabrey to record 24 or more points. It's been a heck of a first year for her in Toronto. She is averaging a team high 21.6 points, 3.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game.
Mabrey comes into this game after dropping two 30 bombs. She's really feeling it right now as those games were vs. the Liberty and the Wings. Both teams are not easy teams to get over on, but she did. I think she's feeling it at home and comfortable on the home court and it will continue.
I think she matches up well vs. Citron as well. Mabrey is bigger and can definitely shoot over Citron. This could be easy pickings for her, and I think she will do her thing. Both teams' matchup well and Toronto could easily take this game at home if she plays well.
