Tonight, we get started with the Atlanta Dream taking on the Washington Mystics in our nation's capital. A little while later, we have another east coast game with the Connecticut Sun hosting the Dallas Wings. Our late game for tonight is the Seattle Storm taking on the Phoenix Mercury.
Nice three game slate tonight. I know I make fun of the scheduling, but I have settled into these three game slates. They are nice to dial in on and even though we've been rinse and repeating, we're still finding winners. Let's get into the Best Bets for tonight in the WNBA.
Check out the odds for this matchup and other WNBA games at the best online sportsbooks.
WNBA Best Bet #1: Jessica Shepard to record 31 or more PRA (-115)

Dallas Wings forward Jessica Shepard drives down low against Las Vegas Aces' defenders.
I don't know if a player can get MIP for just changing teams. If it's possible, then we are watching it happen. We're going back to our girl and her PRA line tonight vs. a weak Connecticut team that Dallas should take down.
Shepard is averaging 14.3 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season. She is just coming off a miss on her line after a tough game vs. her former team, the Minnesota Lynx. The line was cleared in the three games prior and in four of her last seven games.
I think we see a lot of Shepard tonight. This is a very winnable game for the Wings, and she should handle them with ease. Forward Aneesah Morrow will probably be Shepards biggest challenge, and I think she man handles her. The only concern is restricted minutes due to a blowout.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Angel Reese to record 13 or more rebounds (+100)

Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese reacts to the crowd after a timeout is called by their opponent.
This chick has most definitely found herself. Reese is averaging 14.8 points and 11.6 rebounds this season. Although her game has leveled out where she is scoring and grabbing boards, this is matchup we missed last time.
Reese has missed this line in her last five games, but that is because the line was moved to 13 due to the opponent. She has broken 12 in two of her last three games, and I think we see her go off tonight. Not only is she due for a big game, she's crushed the Mystics earlier this season.
In their last matchup, she had 18 points and 17 rebounds. It was the first of three games this season where she grabbed 17 boards. I counted her out vs. Kiki Iriafen and Shakira Austin in that game and I'm not making that mistake again. Even if she's "mebounding" more this year, we'll still take it.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Kahleah Copper to record 19 or more points (-130)

Phoenix Mercury guard Kahleah Copper reacts after nailing a three-point shot.
Copper is quietly on fire right now for the Mercury. She is averaging a team high 20.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting only 39.5% from the field. The big surprise is her shooting only 25.4% from three which is normally an area she is strong in.
The last six games have been unreal for this girl. She's broke the line in her last three games, coming off two back-to-back games of 27 or more points. Copper has also hit in five of her last six games, which includes a 41-point performance vs. the Sparks a few weeks back.
I like this matchup for her vs. the Storm because in two games this year, she missed the line. The one game in her last six that she missed was a 17-point game vs. the Storm. Give me Copper to have a big game while on a two-game winning streak looking to make it three.
