It's a nice four-game slate in the WNBA on this fine Sunday. We have games unfortunately staggered like crap, but at least we have multiple games. Let's see the matchups.
Today to start, the Minnesota Lynx will face the Dallas Wings at the College Park Center. An hour later, the Portland Fire take on the Washington Mystic in our nation's capital. Then an hour after that, the Las Vegas Aces play the Chicago Sky. See what I mean about the staggering? Lol.
To end the slate, the Golden State Valkyries will host the New York Liberty. This is a great game to end off the slate in my opinion. Let's get into some of the Best Bets for today in the WNBA.
Check out the odds for this matchup and other WNBA games at the best online sportsbooks.
WNBA Best Bet #1: Breanna Stewart to record 9 or rebounds (-105)

New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart drives past the defender for an open layup.
Stew York has been doing her thing this season. She is averaging a team high 19.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3 assists per game. The team went on an 8-0 run a few games ago that she was obviously a huge part of that.
I like Breanna to get her rebounds again. She's coming off a miss but had hit the line in her last five out of six games, hitting double digits in four of those games. Stewie hit the line in the last game these two teams have played as well.
New York rebounds better than Golden State overall and the Valkyries highest rebounder his only averaging just over 5 rebounds per game. I like this spot for Stewie and the Liberty against a good team. They've shown they can perform on big stages, so the competition doesn't scare me.

WNBA Best Bet #2: Jackie Young to record 18 or more points (-110)

Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young takes the ball up court into the offensive zone.
Jackie's been getting her buckets as of late. She is averaging 15.9 points, 6.7 assists and 4.6 rebounds this season. Young is a season veteran, multiple time champion and an Olympic gold medalist. The kid has been around the block once or twice.
She has been scoring the ball a lot lately. Young has hit her line in her last four games straight. They were against opponents like the Liberty, Wings and Valkyries – all good teams. This should be another great spot for her to continue scoring against a weaker Sky team.
Young will be matched up against guard Skylar Diggins. Diggins hasn't been her explosive self as of late and will have her hands full with Young. One player to watch to possibly give Young problems is guard Natasha Cloud, but her minutes will be limited.
WNBA Best Bet #3: Jessica Shepard to record 31 or more PRA (-115)

Dallas wings forward Jessica Shepard goes up for a layup with a hand in her face.
We're going to rinse and repeat here. I know we've played this a lot, but we're going to go until the wheels fall off. Shepard is averaging 14.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists this season. She has been dominating for the Wings and will look to continue tonight.
Her line is set at 31 for her PRA and she's been clearing it. She's hit in her last three games straight and last four out of five games. That's ridiculously impressive considering the line is over 30. She's also done it to teams like Aces (three times this season) and the Valkyries as of late.
This is going to be a good game, and it is also against her former team. I think she shows out in her new home and lets the Lynx know what they let go. I can't even imagine how much better the Lynx would be if she was still on the team!
