We only have a two-game slate today, with one matchup being much better than the other. The timings of these games go back to the W's amazing way of scheduling, but here we are. In the first game, the Golden State Valkyries will visit the Atlanta Dream and much later at night the Portland Fire will play the Seattle Storm.
I really like the Valkyries vs. Dream matchup as it's the third in less than two weeks. Golden State will look to get their third win over Atlanta tonight. The late matchup being two teams that need a lot of work isn't too attractive, but nevertheless we get another game.
Check out the odds for this matchup and other WNBA games at the best online sportsbooks.
WNBA Best Bet #1: Gabby Williams to record 16 or more points (-130)

Golden State Valkyries guard Gabby Williams goes for the layup under Los Angeles Sparks forward Dearica Hamby.
I've been very back-and-forth with Gabby this season, but today we're backing her. She is averaging a team high 15.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in her first season with the Valkyries. Williams has started in all 20 games this season and is averaging 26.3 minutes per game.
The point line is in a good place. She is coming off a terrible game vs. the Liberty last week, so this is a nice bounce back spot for her. These two teams just played two games back-to-back about ten days ago and she hit her line in both games.
I like this spot for her. Like I said, she's been up and down for us this season, but when we see a good spot, we're going to take it. She should clear this line and hopefully give the Valkyries a third huge win for them vs. the Dream in two weeks.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Natisha Hiedeman to record a 15 or more points (-140)

Seattle Storm guard Natisha Hiedeman reacts to the crowd after hitting a big shot.
Natisha is having some nice success in her first year with the Storm. She is averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 45.3% from the field and 37.9% from three. Hiedeman has been a great addition but to a struggling team.
I like her points tonight vs the Fire. She is coming off a miss, which we all know I like, and also missed two games prior to the last. Otherwise, she has been on the money, hitting in six straight games and hitting in seven out of her last ten. She also hit in her last game vs. Portland two weeks ago.
When it comes to the point, she's the team main go to. Rookie guard Flau'jae Johnson is also another threat, but other than these two, it's just center Dominque Malonga down low. Lots of opportunity for Hiedeman to control the game and score points.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Carla Leite to record 15 or more points (-115)

Portland Fire guard Carla Leite smiles over at the bench after getting the foul call.
We have a new face around these parts. Say hello to Portland Fire guard Carla Leite. She is averaging a team high 15.1 points and 5.7 assists per game. Leite has emerged as the leader of this brand-new team.
She is coming off a monster 32-point performance last game vs. the Mystics, but the game went to four overtimes. Leite has broken this line in three of her last four games though. That fourth game was against the Storm, and she put up 20 points.
I think this is a good spot for her to have another good game. It's against a team that isn't very strong and it's also a team they have seen once now. Give me her to break that points like and I'm probably going to sprinkle 20+ as well.
