We head back to the drawing board for today's slate. There are three games tonight and all have some gems in them. Let's check out who's playing and the matchups at hand.
The Las Vegas Aces will look to get their lick back vs. the Dallas Wings. Then we have the Portland Fire taking on the Minnesota Lynx at the Target Center. To end the slate, the Golden State Valkyries will host the Los Angeles Sparks.
There are some old sayings like "what's not broke, don't fix" or "rinse and repeat". That is what we're going to do tonight after cashing two of these plays the other day. We love the hand hots and we're riding with them again tonight.

WNBA Best Bet #1: Kelsey Plum 21 or more points (-120)
Coming off a giant game, we're going back to Plum. She just put up 43 points on Saturday night vs. the Phoenix Mercury. Kelsey has been the star of the show in LA this season, leading them again in her second season with the team.
She is averaging 26.6 points and 6.9 assists per game this season. Plum currently leads the league in points per game after that big game. In ten games this season, she has had 25+ points in seven of those ten games. This is all while missing three games so far.
Los Angeles is currently on a three-game winning streak that they'll look extend tonight. They're a very good road team, going 5-1 so far this season. I expect Plum to lead this team again and drop buckets in the process for a low number, good value play.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Olivia Miles 31 or more PRA (-115)

Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles directs traffic from the top of the key.
There's really not much I have to say here. Miles is taking the league by storm and as we've talked about in the past is the clear favorite to win Rookie of the Year. Her performances just keep getting better and better as she comes off a career high 29-point game.
Olivia is averaging 18.6 points, 5.9 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. She currently leads the team in points per game and tied for the most minutes per game. Minnesota has embraced her and all her talent as she has become a focal point of this team.
I like for her to continue her dominance. She has hit this line in her last five games straight. In one of those games, she had 31 PRA, but more than cleared it in the other four. I expect her to have herself a day vs. the first year Fire team.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Jessica Shepard to record a Double Double (-135)

Dallas Wings forward Jessica Shepard high fives a teammate after hitting the bucket and getting the and-1 call.
I feel like we're obligated to bet on Shepard after the last game she had vs. the Aces. She put up a triple double that game, including a 20-point, 20-rebound performance. Shepard is having herself one heck of a start with the Wings this season.
She is averaging 13.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. She comes into this game off a double double and has had one in three of her last four games and eight out of her last ten games. The volume and minutes are there, so we know we can expect her in the thick of things.
Going up against the reigning league MVP is always a tough task. I expect this to be a battle, but I think Shepard comes out with the double double. We need her hungry under the rim and cleaning the glass because the points shouldn't be a problem.
