We have a West coast matchup tonight down south. The Las Vegas Aces will take on the Dallas Wings at the College Park Center. It's the first matchup of the season between these two teams and is the first of three this season.
Las Vegas is 4-2 and second in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a loss to the Sparks on Saturday. So far this season, all four of the Aces' wins have come on the road and tonight they'll look to make it five.
POD Sneak Peak: Las Vegas Aces Spread -3.5 (-115)

The defending champs look good to start the season. Reigning MVP A'ja Wilson is having a solid start, averaging 25 points and 7 rebounds per game. The team has already started the season ranking first in pace and field goal percentage. They are averaging the second most points per game as well.
On defense, they rank seventh in defensive rating. Vegas turns the ball over a lot and they don't steal it back much. Their rebounding is very good, ranking fourth overall with most coming defensively. The offense carries this team and has in the past, so we'll see if that continues this year.

Dallas finished in last place last year and off to a great start this year

Wings guard Paige Bueckers works the ball around Aces guard Jewell Loyd.
Dallas is 4-3 to start the year and fourth in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a huge 91-76 win over the Liberty on Sunday. Rookie Azzi Fudd had a breakout game with 24 points and 3 steals.
This team is still really young and in a rebuild, but on the right track. The leader of the team is guard Paige Bueckers. After her rookie season, she showed she's the franchise player. Having her girlfriend alongside her and Arike Ogunbowale make for a dangerous back court.
Right now, some of the things they're doing right is moving ball, ranking first in assists. They're playing smart basketball and rank second best for turnovers per game. Even though they don't score the most points or have the best field goal percentage, Dallas has the best offensive rating in the league.
Great start for a team with a lot of work still. If they can really win some games, they could attract some players in the near future. Let's check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Wings picks.

This should be a great game given Dallas is definitely a better team this year. They're still outmatched vs. the Aces but should give them a run for their money. The spread is close, but I don't think the Wings can keep it within 3 points.
Vegas is going to pour it on with the offense. It's going to be hard for them to contain A'ja Wilson with no real center. Jessica Shepard and Alanna Smith will do their best with trying to hold her down and it's going to be tough.
On that note, give me Wilson to get over her points line that should be around 25 points. She hasn't hit this in her last two games, so she is due for a big one. Her last big game, she put up 45 points. This game could have the potential for some of the same so sprinkling the 30+ is definitely a look.
