We have a battle between the Las Vegas Aces and the Dallas Wings. The Aces are a much better team than the Wings despite their record. These 2 teams played each other in early July and the Aces won by 19 points.

The Aces are coming off a win vs the Sky that they just got the win in. They also had back-to-back losses to the Lynx in the 2 games prior to the Sky game. This team hasn't been playing up to its potential and it's causing them to slip in the standing.

Right now, the Aces are 18-11 and are 3rd in the Western Conference. The 2 games they just dropped against the Lynx were both by double digits. Luckily for the Aces, the playoffs are made up of the top 8 teams in the lead, so they don't have to battle out of the West. Still, these loses are signs that they still haven't got it together.

A'ja Wilson is still putting on an MVP year. She hasn't hit her points line in her last 4 out of 5 games, which means she's due to come out of that. Wilson is just coming off an 18-rebound performance, which she's going to need to keep up.

Dallas is running out of time to turn around and make the playoffs
