Las Vegas looks to move on to the second round tonight. The Seattle Storm will host the Aces tonight at Climate Pledge Arena. The Aces took care of business in game one and coasted to a 25-point win.
The Aces finished the season 30-14 and ended up second in the league. They went on a historic 16 game winning streak to end the season. Las Vegas looked great last game at home and were 13-9 on the road this season, so we could see the same.
A'ja Wilson continued to go off vs the Storm. She put up 29 points and 8 rebounds in game one. The Storm had no answer for Wilson and Las Vegas will lean on their star again.
Jackie Young also had a great game with 18 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Another one worth mentioning is Nalyssa Smith with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Smith has been a great addition to this team, and her play has improved every game.

Seattle needs to find a way to win with backs against the wall

Storm guard Skylar Diggins goes to drive around Aces guard Jackie Young.
The Storm went 23-21 this year and finished seventh in the league. They really got the brakes beat off them in game one and need a major correction. Seattle struggled at home this year with a 10-12 record, so hopefully it being a playoff game will get them going.
In game one, Skylar Diggings only had 12 points and 2 assists and Nneka Ogwumike only had 11 points, but 8 boards. This team needs these ladies putting up numbers if they're going to win.
Luckily Gabby Williams and rookie Dominque Malonga had good games that they can hopefully carry that momentum. Brittney Sykes came over from Washington late this season and was a ghost last game. She could be a difference maker if she starts scoring.
Seattle needs to play smart basketball to win. The Aces had a lot of steals and blocks on the Storm, so if they can protect the ball better than they have a better chance. Let's check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Storm picks.

I think this is all the Aces again. There's nothing I didn't see last game that didn't look like the 16 prior games. These ladies are on a mission and honestly may just go ahead and win it all.
The spread being 4.5 is like a gift. I don't get where it's coming from, but we're taking it all day. With the play we just saw and have been seeing, I think we see another double digit victory and they're on to the second round.
I love A'ja to get her 25 or more points for -110. She has been absolutely unstoppable. I don't see anything changing here because she is so dialed in. Her power and talent are on a whole different level than any of the Storms bigs.
The other play I like is Jackie Young to get 5 or more rebounds for -125. She has hit the line in three of her four last games, which includes game one. Young has also hit vs. the Storm in her last two game back-to-back. This is a great spot for Young, and I think she clears it easily.
