We head to the desert for game 3 of the WNBA Finals with the Las Vegas Aces facing the Phoenix Mercury. The Aces have a 2-0 series lead after a big 13-point win in game 2. All of the Aces big players held their weight and showed out.
A'ja Wilson had 28 points and 14 rebounds, and she didn't even lead the team in scoring. Jackie Young led the way with 32 points and also had 8 rebounds. To boot, Chelsea Gray had a 10 point and 10 assist double double of her own.
They were firing on all cylinders on Sunday. Las Vegas going 49% from the field and a big 35% from three, hitting 8 threes. Their rebounding was on point, and they had 6 blocks. Great game on both ends for the Aces.
Two more games like this and the Aces will find themselves champs once again. They've been here before and know what needs to be done, so it's a scary situation for the Mercury. The Aces just need to steal on of these to really take the advantage.

Phoenix needs to get it together and shake off the last two games

Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas looks to pass he ball while defended by Aces guard Chelsea Gray.
The Mercury looked good in game 1, their tough and gritty selves. In game 2, they couldn't get it going or figure it out. The Aces were just too much for them. Phoenix will hope to have home court advantage work in their favor.
Game 2 came at them fast and I don't think they were ready for the Aces team they got Sunday. Phoenix struggled from three, only shooting 18% and were out rebounded by ten. They matched Las Vegas for steals, points in the paint and points off turnovers, but it wasn't enough.
They really got shown what they were up against. Last game could've gone much differently if Alyssa Thomas hit those two free throws in game 1 to most likely win that game, but here we are.
If it's one thing, the Mercury showed they can compete against this Aces team in game 1 so they just need to get back to that. Let's check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Mercury picks.

The sportsbooks think we see and close game here and are giving the home court the edge. I personally like the line because I think the Aces win this game and take a 3-0 lead. To be safe, we're going to take the 3.5 points as I agree that it should be a close game.
I don't think the Mercury have an answer for A'ja. If she keeps playing the way she has for the last 20 games, it's going to be impossible to stop her. It makes it ten times tougher when she has teammates dropping 30 points and 10 assists. Phoenix may be able to slow this train down, but I don't think stop it.
Give me Jackie Young to get 18 or more points for even money. The girl absolutely balled out with 32 points last game and made a statement. She's cleared this line in four out of her last five games and is not cooling down.
Another play I like is Jewell Loyd to hit 2 or more three pointers for -120. She's been cooking quietly, hitting this in her last four games. Loyd is a shooter, so you always know the volume will be there as she's shot 7 attempts in three of her last four games.
