We have an early game to get the slate started today. The Las Vegas Aces will head east to take on the Atlanta Dream. Both teams are off to great starts, and this is going to be a great game.
Las Vegas is 3-1 to start the season after losing their first game. They've won their last three games with the last being a win over the Connecticut Sun. The Aces played the Sun in back-t0-back games and won both.
A'ja Wilson had a huge game on Friday night. The MVP put up 45 points on 15 of 18 shooting which is just filthy. She also was perfect from the foul line and three-point line. Wilson was on one offensively, only grabbing three boards and dishing three assists.
Guards Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young are starting off great. Gray just had 12 points and 10 assist vs. the Sun and Young had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Newest addition Chennedy Carter has come in and made her presence felt. She comes off an 18-point game off the bench.
In their last three wins, the Aces have put up 98+ points in each game. They are ranking fourth so far in offensive and defensive ratings. The defending champs are off to a good start and could really gain some traction early.

Atlanta settling in with new addition Angel Reese to the roster

Dream guard Rhyne Howard takes the ball up court in a game this year.
The Dream are off to a solid start, winning their first two games of the season. They come into this game off a win over the Wings on Tuesday. Atlanta has a lot more swagger to them with their new addition.
Forward Angel Reese came in the offseason and has made her presence felt. She's had double doubles in both of the games, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach 50 career double doubles. There is a piece of her game missing though.
Last season, Reese improved her shooting and most of her boards were defensive, but she has not found her shot this season. She's had 14 and 16 rebounds with half or more being offensive. If she can improve, she will be that more dangerous.
Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard have picked right back up from last year. Gray is averaging 25 points and 6 rebounds while Howard is averaging 15 points, 5 assists and 5 boards per game. The team will be really stacked down low when forward Brionna Jones returns from a right knee injury, but it will be a while.

Like I said, this should be a good one. The spreads one and half points too which says a lot. I do like the Aces to take this game and we're getting good value. The defending champs will be up to the test vs. a good team to make a statement.
Las Vegas looked dominate vs. the Sun in both those games and this will definitely be a test. They will need to contain the big three for Atlanta – Reese, Gray and Howard. All three extremely talented, but something tells me A'ja gives Reese some trouble.
I like for Chelsea Gray to get over her assists line. It should be a game where everyone will need to get involved and she's going to facilitate. Gray is coming off a 10-assist game vs. the Sun. I also like Reese to get her rebound line which will probably be around 13. It's risky with Wilson, but something tells me she still grubs.
