We have a packed slate tonight in the WNBA. The Phoenix Mercury will take on the Dallas Wings at College Park Center. These two teams last met a month ago and the Mercury won by 13 points.

Phoenix is 12-5 this season and second in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a loss to the Aces on Sunday. The Mercury are 7-3 in their last 10 games and an impressive 5-2 on the road.

Defensively, they are pretty solid. They rank first in steals, fifth-best in turnovers, and fifth in defensive rating. Phoenix has really come together after their offseason moves and guard Kahleah Copper hasn't even warmed up since her return.

The Wings are 5-13 this season and last in the West. They come into this game off a solid win over the Mystics on Saturday. Dallas is 4-6 in their last 10 games and 3-6 at home this season.

As expected, this team isn't the best as they are coming off a terrible year. They got rookie Paige Bueckers who is having herself a year though. Bueckers is averaging 18 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds per game while leading this team.

Arike Ogunbowale has been very inconsistent this season. Although she is averaging 17 points per game, her shooting has been all over the place, shooting 36% from the field. New addition DiJonai Carrington has been contributing nicely with 12 points and 5 rebounds per game.

This is a good spot for the Mercury to keep it going. They play well on the road and had success against them already this year. Phoenix should control this game, and I think they cover the spread without a problem. Straight out, the Mercury are a much better team all around.

Expect Sabally and Thomas to lead the Mercury as usual. The Mercury will need a good shooting performance from Sabally to really win this game. She needs to hit at least her game average of 19 points per game while Thomas flirts with a triple-double.

Even though they lost by 13 last time, Bueckers put up a 35-piece against the Mercury. I think that's going to change this game as Phoenix definitely remembers that and will make adjustments. If Alyssa Thomas is guarding her, she will be in basketball hell.

I like for Alyssa Thomas to record a double-double for -115. She is just about averaging one this season and had one last game vs. the Wings. She should be all over the glass and dishing the rock as well. That's not mentioning that she's good for those points too, so don't sleep on the triple-double for +650.
