Two the of the best teams in recent years face off tonight. The Las Vegas Aces travel to the Big Apple to take on the New York Liberty. These two teams started off the season against each other and the Liberty got the win to start the season.
The Las Vegas Aces are 9-9 this season and fifth in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a nice dominating win over the Sun on Sunday. Las Vegas is 5-5 in their last 10 games and 4-5 on the road this season.
A'ja Wilson just had a solid 19-point game where she shot 8-of-10 from the field. She only had three rebounds and no assists in the game, but they were up by a lot all game. Wilson has struggled in the past vs. New York, so we'll have our eye on her when it comes to props.
Newly acquired NaLyssa Smith had herself a game. She had 11 points and 10 rebounds in her first game with the Aces. These kinds of numbers weren't happening in Dallas, so not sure what changed, but Vegas will take it.

Liberty looks to rebound off loss to Storm Sunday night

New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart goes to the hoop for a layup.
The Liberty are 12-6 this season and first in the Eastern Conference. They come into this game off a loss to the Storm on Sunday. New York is 4-6 in their last 10 games and 7-2 at home this season. After a hot start for this team, they have come back down to earth.
Regardless of the losses, they are still in great shape in the league. New York ranks first in the league for points per game and pace. They're in the top five of almost every offensive statistical category except for rebounding.
Jonquel Jones has been out with a sprained ankle, but otherwise the team has been healthy. Sabrina Ionescu battled a neck injury for a few games but has looked good her last two games. Breanna Stewart was missing a bit from last game and really the reason in the end why they lost.
They have been a little shotty lately, going 1-3 in their last four games. It'll be interesting to see how they come out – hot or cold. Let's check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Liberty picks.

I think we see a close game here. Both teams are fully staffed and very familiar, so I think we get a good game as well. Considering how both teams have been playing, I have to go with the Aces and take the points.
A'ja Wilson has been playing great and although her numbers vs. the Liberty aren't the greatest, she is still A'ja Wilson. Her supporting cast provides great support as well on both offense and defense. Players like Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray will need to produce and it would be nice if Jewell Loyd came to play. She could be an X-factor.
It's in the Liberty's favor being home and how they play there. I do lean them winning, but I don't think we see a blowout here. Give me Chelsea Gray for six or more assists for +142. She has hit in her last three out of four games vs. the Liberty and will be feeding A'ja down low.
The other play I like is Jackie Young to get two or more three-pointers for -138. She has a great history vs. the Liberty, hitting in five of her last six games. Young has also had four threes in her last three of four games vs. New York, so a great ladder option.
