On the first day of third round matches at Wimbledon, chalk ruled in women's singles, but a frenetic Friday shook up a section of the men's singles draw. Will day six at the All England Club bring a reversal or a repeat of those results?

There was action aplenty in the first round, as 10 seeded men and eight seeded women were sent packing across Monday and Tuesday.

In the three days since, 10 more seeded men have exited the tournament, including five yesterday as the first half of third round matches took place.

And in the spirit of Friday, some big fish were indeed fried yesterday in London. The biggest one was No. 8 seed Daniil Medvedev, who went down to Jan-Lennard Struff 6-7 (4-7), 6-7 (5-7), 5-7 in a tightly contested three-setter.

Two of the top young guns also fell. No. 23 seed Rafael Jodar couldn't maintain a hot start as bumbled, stumbled, and tumbled in four sets against Shintaro Mochizuki, who entered Wimbledon ranked 151st in the world. Also, No. 24 seed Joao Fonseca became Romain Safiullin's latest conquest in a 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 win for the world No. 132.

Things are going a bit differently for the women. Of the 24 players that remain in the draw, 19 are seeded. And in Friday's octet of opportunities, all eight favored players won, seven seeded players and former Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova, who eliminated French Open Mirra Andreeva in the second round.

Looking at the Wimbledon schedule for Saturday, there are multiple intriguing possibilities to back underdogs at Lucky Rebel and other top online sportsbooks. Here's a rundown of the complete men's and women's schedule for day six.

Wimbledon Day Six Predictions and Picks

Sorana Cirstea (+180 at Lucky Rebel) to win vs. Linda Noskova

After reaching a Grand Slam singles quarterfinal for the just the third time in her long professional career, Cirstea is aiming to move within a win of a second consecutive one as she takes on Noskova.

These two are rather familiar with one another, to put it mildly. They have faced off four times already in 2026, three times on hard courts (Dubai, Indian Wells, and Miami) and once on clay (Rome).

Cirstea won in Dubai, Miami, and Rome, while Noskova won the matchup in Indian Wells on the way to reaching the semis.

This is not a particularly familiar spot for Noskova, who is looking to at least match last year's fourth-round run at Wimbledon. To this point, that is her best Grand Slam singles result.

Cirstea has not ventured beyond his round in Slams very often (just five times, none at Wimbledon). But she knows Noskova well at this point, and the 36-year-old Romanian has been solid across all surfaces this year.

At these odds, I love Cirstea in this spot. I'm also down with an extra sprinkle on her to cover the +3 match games spread, which also has great value at -107 at Lucky Rebel.

Taylor Fritz/Lorenzo Sonego Under 37.5 Games (-114 at Lucky Rebel)

Fritz is 7-2 all time against Sonego, including 2-0 on grass. Their first meeting was in 2018, so the sample size is spread across a sizable span of time. But Fritz is the better player, and his best winning percentage in a Grand Slam is at Wimbledon, where he is now 20-9 (69.0%) as he seeks to reach the last 16 for the fourth time in five years.

Sonego spent eight hours on court in his wins over Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Gabriel Diallo, but he won't be out there nearly as long against Fritz, who brushed aside Dusan Lajovic in 101 minutes and compatriot Patrick Kypson in just two hours and three minutes.

Flavio Cobolli (+125 at Lucky Rebel) to win vs. Karen Khachanov

Khachanov is a two-time Wimbledon quarterfinalist (including last year, as was Cobolli) and the more experienced player, and he is a fair favorite in this matchup.

However, the French Open finalist has already proven he is a threat on multiple surfaces this year, claiming a ATP 500 hard-court title (the Mexico Open) in addition to his clay success (reaching the French Open final and Bavarian Open final).

There are some other younger players drawing more attention than Cobolli, but that lofty number next to his name is well-earned. I like his chances to come out on top in this one.
