Mexico is the clear favorite to win this game and their group, they are ranked 16th in the entire world and have their entire nation behind them. I cant see the South Africans putting up a fight in what will be a tough atmosphere but also brutal conditions for a nation who may not be used to the elevation in Mexico City.

Can Mexico find its way back into the Copa America Finals?

Will Mexico find a way to advance in this tournament?

Best Bet: Mexico ML / South Africa Under 0.5 Goals (-112)  Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
This Mexico defense is one of the best in the world.  This South African attack just isnt good enough in my opinion to go up against Mexico who allowed just 3 goals in 6 Concacaf Gold Cup matches. Mexico then foillowed this up by allowing just 1 goal in 4 Nations Leauge matches.

They thrive in these low scoring, defensive games and have the easiest matchup in the group. Mexico took their pre World Cup friendlies pretty seriously and they allowed 0 goals to Australia, Ghana, Portugal, Iceland and only 1 goal to Serbie and Beligum – all sides much better equipped then this South Africa side.

I'm scared off of the total game under as I can see Mexico come out hot and know they can get a nice goal differential gap for their group. This is a huge game for them to build a cushion and every goal will help them in seeding and qualifying a group that they should win.
