I'll be backing the French to win this match in 90 minutes but not before both teams find the back of the net. I love the French in this game. I endorse their team total over 2.5, their spread at -1.5, and for them to win with over 2.5 total goals in the match, so pick your poison. Sweden's defense has been leaky for a while now, and the French are ready to run up the score.
After watching Germany lose yesterday, France should know they have a much easier Round of 16 matchup as things currently stand. All they need to do is not play with their food and beat this Sweden side, who already got demolished by the Netherlands, a top seven team in the world. Now they face the No. 2 team in the current FIFA World Rankings, and I think they are in for some hurt.
However, with Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak up top, I think Sweden is able to find at least one. Ultimately, France should have no problem scoring, so the sweatiest part of this wager will be waiting on the Swedes to put one on the scoreboard.
