We are looking to bounce back after a 1-2 day on the pitch yesterday. Lucky for us, we have four more matches across North America to wager on today, so let's check out our soccer analyst's favorite World Cup picks and hope we can win some money back!

Argentina vs. Austria FIFA World Cup Picks

Argentina is a heavy favorite for a reason, and I don't hate backing them with this same game parlay at 1.5 for (-121), or opting to take them on the spread at -1 for (-125). However, Argentina could clear this line by themselves, and even if they don't, I could see a 2-1 final. Austria's defense was rock solid in their opening match, but that was against Jordan. They will have a much tougher time producing offense in this contest, plus they will be on their heels defending for plenty of it as well.
At plus money, taking both teams to score could be a move. But personally I'd rather just root for Argentina to run up the score and seal the group tonight, so they can rest as many starters as possible against Jordan.
France vs. Iraq FIFA World Cup Picks

France started out weak and scared against Senegal before finally turning it on in the final half hour of the match, eventually winning 3-1. Look for them to come out extra aggressive today, leaving no doubt on the scoreboard. This offense is more than capable of netting two quick ones against Iraq. We already saw Spain bounce back after their rough showing in their opener, scoring three in the first half against Saudi Arabia.
Sure, France ended up beating Senegal, so they aren't in as deep of a hole as the Spaniards were. However, they have a chance to help themselves on goal differential, since they are down one to Norway as things currently stand. Assuming the Norwegians can beat Senegal, France would need a big win to keep up with them, therefore I see them starting off on the right foot this afternoon.
Norway vs. Senegal FIFA World Cup Picks
Best Bet: Norway/Senegal 1H Under 1 (-105) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Norway just put up four goals against Iraq, so we might be crazy for taking this under. However, the Senegal defense held strong against France and played them to a scoreless first 45 minutes, before conceding three in the second half. Senegal will do everything in their power to make sure this match is scoreless going into the break. All they need to do for the first 45 minutes is prevent Norway from scoring. Don't even think about pushing on offense until the second half.
Norway should have this team on their heels from the start, much like France did. However, we already saw this African side hold their ground against one of the World Cup Contenders, I see them having no problem doing so against Haaland and company.

We are backing another late night under in the FIFA World Cup, this time between the two teams at the bottom of Group J. Algeria was able to find the back of the net early against Argentina, but it was called offside by VAR. Argentina went on to win 3-0 after Messi had himself a hat trick.
Jordan scored against Austria, but produced just 0.46 expected goals. However, despite allowing three in the back of the net, including a stoppage time penalty kick, they only conceded 1.46 expected goals. Tonight, both teams will be extremely careful, wanting to at least earn a point with a draw. It wouldn't surprise me if this game is stale, boring, and uneventful, resulting in a match that stays well under this total.
