It's day two for the men's hockey and we got a banger. Team Czechia will take on the favorites in Team Canada. It's been quite lopsided in the matches between these two with Canada leading 8-2 in their last ten matches and 4-0 in their last four games.
This has to be one of the most stacked teams Canada has ever produced. Both offense and defense are loaded with talent and makes them the heavy favorites to win the gold. Their goaltending is probably their weakest area but still stacked.
You have legends like Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid to Nathan MacKinnon and Sam Reinhart. And that's just on offense! Cale Makar and teammate Devon Toews lead the way on defense with Shea Thoedore and Drew Doughty behind them.
Between the pipes we have Jordan Binnington leading the way. Darcey Kuemper and Logan Thompson are the two backup goalies to Binnington. These guys should be enough to get the job done with the protection they'll get on defense and cushioned lead from the offense.

It should be interesting to see how this team comes together. They are only made up of so many NHL players and the rest from their home country. But they are looking pretty good in their first two lines.
Bruins forward David Pastrnak will lead this offense. He has Martin Necas and Tomas Hertl playing alongside of him. On the second line, you have Ondrej Palat and Radek Faksa. It's going to come down to how well these guys will click with the non-NHL players.
On defense, Radko Gudas and Filip Hronek leading the way. The rest of the defense is made up of guys playing in the Czechia leagues. Goalies Lukas Dostal and Karel Vejmelka will be guarding the net for the team. Honestly, not a terrible duo if they get help from their teammates.

I think this is going to be a coming out party for Team Canada. They are so stacked that it's just unbelievable. We may never witness a team this great every again. I love team USA, but this Canada team is going to be special.
If you want, sprinkle the -3.5 and dust the -4.5 puck lines. We should see an offensive explosion from a team who has been nonstop practicing and spending time together. The bonds old and new are forming and these guys are hungry for the gold.
There are a few different plays that I like here. I think Sidney Crosby gets 2 or more points. Sid the kid is the captain of this team and is known to the dish the puck. Being on a line with Nathan Mackinnon, he has a big boy to feed the puck to.
A sneaky play is going to be Macklin Celebrini to have 3 or more shots on goal. This kid is a stud and having a hell of a season. It's an honor for him to be playing on this team at his age, giving him the possibility of being the new face of Team Canada in the future.
