We have a great game to end today's slate. The San Jose Sharks will head down to take on divisional rival, the Los Angeles Kings at the Crypto.com Arena. These two teams last played back in November, and the Sharks won 4-3.
San Jose is 21-18-3 this season and sixth in the Pacific Division. They come into this game off a win last night over the Blue Jackets. The Sharks are 6-4-0 in their last ten games, 9-10-0 on the road and 6-6-2 in divisional matchups.
Like I've wrote about in the past, this team is fun man. They're extremely young and their star in shining this year. Macklin Celebrini is having himself a hell of a second year. The stud has 22 goals and 41 assists, ranking third best in the league.
Their defense is terrible though and definitely their low point. San Jose ranks second worst in the league for goals allowed and shots on goal allowed per game. They commit about four penalties per game but only kill off 77% of them.
Goalie Alex Nedeljkovic is expected to get the start. He is 5-8-2 this year with a 3.14 GAA and a .890 save percentage. Nedeljkovic will get the start after Yaroslav Askarov's poor performance last game.

Los Angeles will try to get on a winning streak tonight at home

Kings defenseman Brandt Clarke celebrates after scoring a goal vs. the Sharks earlier this year.
The Kings are 18-14-9 so far and are fifth in the Pacific Division. They come into this game on a two-game winning streak after a big win over the Wild on Monday. Los Angeles is 4-6-0 in their last ten games, 7-9-4 at home and 4-1-4 in divisional games.
Monday's win showed a lot against that Minnesota team. LA has struggled at home as well, so something to really build on. Their offense needs to step up though, ranking in the bottom of the league for goals scored per game. They rank in the middle of the league for shots on goal per game but have a terrible shooting percentage.
Los Angeles is really good on defense. They rank second best in the league for goals allowed and tenth in shots on goal allowed per game. The Kings also commit around four penalties per game and only kill off 78% of them.
In net, we're expected to see Darcy Kuemper. He is 12-7-6 this season with a 2.32 GAA and a .912 save percentage. Let's check out the odds and get into the Sharks vs. Kings picks.

To be honest, I think the Sharks win this game, but we're getting good value for the spread. It was an action-packed game last time they played, and I expect more of the same here. We should see a close, back and forth game from start to finish.
I would sprinkle the moneyline for the value as well. San Jose can compete with the best of them at this rate and you never know if they're going to go off or not. We just need them to compete and stay in the game to cash.
Give me Macklin Celebrini for his 4 or more shots on goal for +122. He has hit in three of his last four games. I also like him for 2 or more points that should be around +140. He's coming off a miss after hitting consecutive games prior.
Another play I like is for Nedeljkovic to record over his saves line. It's going to come out around 28 saves most likely and the Kings put up 32 shots last game. Like I mentioned earlier, San Jose is second to last in shots on goal allowed as well.
