We head to the other side of the state for tonight's Game 3 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers have a commanding 2-0 series lead after stealing both games in Pittsburgh.
Philly took Game 2 in Pittsburgh by a final score of 3-0. This was a statement game at this rate, shutting the Pens out on home ice. The Flyers are 18-0-0 all time in a best of seven playoff series when leading 2-0.
This team is really something out. They started the scoring off with a goal by rookie sensation Porter Martone in the second period. About four minutes later, they scored the sickest shorthanded goal off a play made by Own Tippett.
The game was pretty even with both teams having around 25 shots each and going scoreless on the power play. Philly is playing the more physical game, out hitting Pittsburgh by sixteen hits. They also won the faceoffs by nine as well, which says a lot when you're playing guys like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
Goalie Dan Vladar went to 2-0-0 in the playoffs after his shutout. He saved all 27 shots he faced in Game 2. Vladar will look to carry the momentum back home for Game 3.

Pittsburgh cannot afford to lose another game and need to get it together

Penguins forward Ben Kindel gets his shot saved by Flyers goalie Dan Vladar.
The Penguins were completely lost last game. No matter what they did they couldn't find the back of the net. They've been outscored 6-2 in the first two games and a shutout at home is just embarrassing in the playoffs.
This isn't unfamiliar territory for the Pens. They have their core three players from their championship days in Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang. Now the question is raised….is it time for these guys to hang it up?
Philly is putting Pittsburgh to the test. They're clamping them down on defense and putting put three goals per game. This needs to be a turnaround spot for the Pens or their season could be over.
In net, we're expected to see Stuart Skinner. Skinner was 23-17-9 this season and now 0-2 in the playoffs. Let's check out the odds and get into the Penguins vs. Flyers Game 3 picks.

Give me the road team here. An experienced team who knows that have to get a win and we're getting it for even money. The Penguins see the writing on the wall and Game 3 is a must win.
I think they make the adjustments needed to get by Vladar. They need to pour the offense on and throw the kitchen sink at him. If they can, they're going to get past him and could start a domino effect. Their defense needs to step up and smother this Flyers offense.
Being interstate, all these games could feel like home games depending on the turn out. I like for Vladar to get peppered this game and get over his saves line. Pittsburgh is going to pour it on and secure a win here. The line should be around 26-27 saves and I think he sees of 30 shots here.
The other play I like is Porter Martone to record a point. It should be priced around -125 with the way the kid playing. Martone has a point in both playoff games as well as a point in each of his last eight games.
