Well Game 3 was absolute cinema in Anaheim. The Ducks hosted the Edmonton Oilers and handed them a 7-4 loss. This puts the Ducks ahead in the series 2 games to 1. Tonight is a huge spot for the Ducks as they try to take a 3-1 lead back to Edmonton.
We saw a complete barn burner last game. The Oilers struck first with a goal from forward Vasily Podkolzin at the thirteen-minute mark. Their lead didn't last long as the Ducks proceeded to score two goals about three minutes later and one and half minutes apart.
The second period was just as exciting as the first. Only just four minutes in, the Oilers tied the game with a goal from Kasperi Kapenen. Just a minute and a half later, they took the lead with a goal from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The lead did not last long after Alex Killorn tied it for the Ducks.
Once the third period game, it was all Anaheim. They scored two quick goals to start it off and never looked back. Edmonton got a goal from Connor McDavid to close the gap, but it wasn't enough and the Ducks scored two more to win 7-4.
Goalie Lukas Dostal got the win, saving 20 of the 24 shots he faced. He ended with a .833 save percentage. The Ducks will need another solid performance from him to win this one.

Edmonton has been here before but needs a key win tonight

Oilers forwards John Samanski and Connor McDavid celebrate after a second period goal in Game 3.
We all know it takes a lot to count the Oilers out. They haven't made the Finals the past two years by chance. This team knows how to get down and dirty to grind out wins. They'll need exactly that to tie this series up tonight.
Connor McDavid finally got on the board in Game 3 after going with 0 points in the first two games. Normally he has a strong history vs. Anaheim so he really needs to get going if Edmonton has a chance. The return of Leon Draisaitl should've had a bigger impact than it's having.
They've put up 4 goals in all three games on this series. It's not that their offense isn't doing work, it's that their defense cannot stop this Anaheim offense. Slowing the game down and making them play their style of game could be a huge step.
In net, we're expected to see Tristan Jarry this time. Jarry went 18-9-3 this season with a 3.32 GAA and a .882 save percentage. He came over from Pittsburgh mid-season but hasn't lived up to the hype. Let's check out the odds and get into the Oilers vs Ducks Game 4 picks.

I may be crazy but give me the home team again. If they can put some defense together, they can win this game easily. Edmonton is great at scoring, so will be a tough task, but could be the only way to win this game and not need 7 goals.
It's crazy the sportsbook moved the total to 8 goals. I haven't seen that in quite some time, but I also get it. This game will most likely go under, but there is no value there. If you wanted to be sneaky, take the under 7 goals.
With the goalie change we could see a difference. Jarry hasn't had much success this season, but a fresh face is needed after last game. I expect the Ducks to pepper him like they did Ingram last game. Give me over Jarry's save line which will probably be around 27-28 saves.
