We head out west to round out today's slate in the Pacific Division. The Seattle Kraken will take on the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center. These two teams played just two weeks ago and the Ducks won 4-2.
Anaheim is 29-23-3 this season and fourth in the Pacific Division. They come into this game off a win over the Knights on Sunday. The Ducks are 8-2-0 in their last ten games, 16-8-1 at home and 9-7-0 in divisional games.
The Ducks have been playing great this season and find themselves right in the thick of things. They currently hold the first wild card spot and are only three points out of first place in the division. Huge improvements for Anaheim this season.
Their offense has been solid, ranking fourteenth in goals scored per game. The Ducks put up the third most shots per game but are nineteenth in shooting percentage. On defense, they allow the second most goals per game and are twenty first in shots on goal allowed per game.
Goaltender Lukas Dostal is expected to get the start. He is 20-13-2 this season with a 2.81 GAA and .897 save percentage. Dostal will look to get another win vs. the Kraken this season.

Seattle will try to continue winning streak on the road tonight

Kraken forward Chandler Stephenson works the puck around the boards with a Ducks defenseman on him.
The Kraken are 26-19-9 this year and third in the Pacific Division. They come into this game on a four-game winning streak after a big divisional win over the Knights on Saturday. Seattle is 5-4-1 in their last ten games, 12-10-4 on the road and an impressive 11-5-1 in divisional games.
Over these last four games, they're averaging about four and a half goals per game. Their offense isn't the best, ranking toward the bottom of the league for goals scored and shots on goal per game. Seattle is decent on the power play and shoots the puck well.
On defense, they allow a lot of shot on goal, but goaltending has been good. The Kraken rank in the top ten of the league for goals allowed per game. They commit just under four penalties per game but have the second worst penalty kill in the league.
In net, we're expected to see Phillipp Grubauer. He is 11-5-3 this year with a 2.19 GAA and a .919 save percentage. Let's check out the odds and get into the Kraken vs. Ducks picks.

This should be a really good game. These two teams match up very well against each other. We should see a hard-fought game that is neck and neck, back and forth. Seattle gets the edge with that divisional record.
I think that with these two right next to each other in the division and that this game has implications, that both are going to want to play smart hockey. There are two huge two points at stake and to give a lean, give me the Ducks.
We're going to ride the Cutter Gauthier shots ladder. Starting at 4 shots and go all the way to 8 if they'll let you. In three games this year vs. Seattle, he has 7, 8 and 5 shots on goal. He has had 4 or more shots on goal in six of his last eight games as well.
Give me Philipp Grubauer to get absolutely peppered tonight. He's faced 30+ shots and 40+ shots in two games already vs. the Ducks this season. Any number below 30 is a great play and you can even ladder a bit if you want to.
