Another divisional matchup on this slate tonight. The Los Angeles Kings will travel to the desert to take on the Vegas Golden Knights. These two teams last played a few weeks ago and the Knights won 3-2 in overtime. When the break is over, they will start back up against each other as well.
Vegas is 26-16-14 this season and first in the Pacific Division. They come into this game off a win over the Canucks on Wednesday. The Knights are 3-5-2 in their last ten games, 13-8-7 at home and 8-4-4 in divisional matchups.
These guys are leading the division, and they have 14 overtime losses. They could be in warp speed but are only two points in the lead for first place. Their offense has been good, ranking in the top ten of the league for goals scored and shots on goal per game.
The Knights play smart hockey. They are the best in the league for penalties committed and also kill of 81% of their penalties. Vegas does not allow a lot of shots, so you need to be on your game vs. them.
In net, we will see Adin Hill tonight. He is 3-3-3 this season with a 3.09 GAA and a .856 save percentage. Hill was out on the injured reserved at the beginning of the year but has since returned and still finding his groove.

Los Angeles will show off their newest addition tonight in Vegas

Newest King forward Artemi Panarin should be making his debut tonight.
The Kings are 23-18-14 this year and are fifth in the Pacific Division. They come into this game on a two-game losing streak after a loss to the Kraken yesterday. Los Angeles is 4-2-4 in their last ten games, 15-7-7 on the road and 5-2-8 in divisional games.
As I keep mentioning, we should see new addition Artemi Panarin make his debut with the team. He was traded to the team from the Rangers on Wednesday. Panarin had held out from their last three game while a trade was being finalized.
Currently, the Kings offense isn't pretty on paper, but get the job done. They rank toward the bottom of the league for goals scored per game, shots on goal per game and power play conversion. LA also has the third worst shooting percentage in the league as well.
Defensively, the Kings play much better. They rank fourth in the league for goals allowed and eleventh in shots on goal allowed per game. LA doesn't play as smart of hockey as the Knights, committing over four penalties per game and only killing off 77% of them.
We are expected to see Anton Forsberg in net. He has a 9-6-5 record with a 2.38 GAA and a .910 save percentage. Let's check out the odds and get into the Kings vs. Knights picks.

Should be a great game, but I think the Kings come out buzzing. They're more than excited for their new addition and he's going to be pumped playing for a competitive team. This extra boost and motivation should be enough for them to get the win.
Their last game vs. the Knights, they just came up short. This new addition is the boost they need. We should see another close game as both these teams have had trouble sealing wins with 14 overtime losses each.
I'm going all in – give me Panarin for 3 or more shots and to score. He's fully rested and excited so I think they feed him the puck plenty. Players of his caliber usually don't need time to fit into offenses because they're so good adapting. You have to remember he did lead the Rangers year over year for goals scored.
Another play I like is Pavel Dorofeyev to get 3 or more shots on goal. Dorofeyev has emerged as a top offense player for the Knights. He is coming off a 7 shot on goal game and I think he carries that over to this game tonight.
