We head to sunny California for tonight's matchup. The Winnipeg Jets will play the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center. These two teams met once already this season and the Ducks won 4-1.
Anaheim is 31-23-3 this year and are second in the Pacific Division. They come into this game off a win over the Oilers are Wednesday night. They Ducks are 8-2-0 in their last ten games and are 18-8-1 at home this season.
It's been a fun ride for the Ducks this season. They had a hot start, cooled off and have made their way back to the top. Their offense is solid, filled with a young cast of guys like Cutter Gauthier and Leo Carlsson.
They could use some work on defense. Anaheim ranks in the bottom of the league for both goals allowed and shots on goal allowed per game. The Ducks commit almost five penalties per game and only kill off 78% of them.
Goalie Lukas Dostal is expected to get the start. He is 21-13-2 this season with a 2.79 GAA and a .897 save percentage. Dostal somehow wasn't pulled from last game after allowing five goals.

Winnipeg will look to make it two in a row after win over Canucks on Wednesday

Jets center Mark Scheifele skates with the puck during warmups.
The Jets are 23-26-8 this season and sixth in the Central Division. They come into this game off an overtime win over the Canucks on Wednesday. Winnipeg is 4-4-2 in their last ten games and 11-15-3.
Well, if it's one thing, they can only hope they have stellar goaltending for the rest of the season. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck just put on a clinic to help Team USA win gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics. If he can keep that play up, the Jets could catch a wild card spot if they go on a run.
After a crazy good season last year, the Jets offense ranks towards the bottom of the league. They somehow have completely taken a 180 after winning the President's trophy last year. It's honestly crazy to think – did Nikolaj Ehlers have that much of an impact?
In net, we're expected to see Connor Hellebuyck. He is 13-16-6 this season with a 2.78 GAA and a .900 save percentage. Hellebuyck's play is definitely a big part of this years record. Let's check out the odds and get into the Jets vs. Ducks picks.

The Ducks look really good; they just need to play some better defense. That win over the Oilers is a huge confidence boost. I see them riding that momentum into this game still at home.
It helps Anaheim that Winnipeg's defense isn't the greatest and neither is their offense. We should see this game go under considering the goaltenders that are expected to start. It'll take only a few for the Ducks to pull this off.
For a prop, I like Connor Hellebuyck to get over his saves line. The line should drop around 28 saves and the Ducks average just about 31 shots on goal per game. Give me the Ducks to pepper Helly and clear that saves line.
