Titans vs. Texans Prediction: Ride withe the King (NFL Week 8)

The 4-2 Tennessee Titans travel to the 1-4-1 Houston Texans in an AFC South showdown.

The Titans are coming off a huge win last week against the Colts at home, 19-10.

The Titans have simply owned the Colts, sweeping them the past 2 seasons on their way to 2 straight AFC South division titles.

The Titans are looking to make it three in a row this year.

The Titans dropped their first two games but have rattled off 4 in a row and are now 2-0 in the division.

Derrick Henry is back, racking up 3 straight 100 yards games and looking like the King once again.

The Titans defense has also been excellent the past 3 weeks, dominating the line of scrimmage and creating turnovers.

The Texans on the other hand haven't really been able to get things rolling this season. Quarterback Davis Mills has shown flashes, but it isn't translating to wins.

They are also struggling on defense, especially stopping the run.

Josh Jacobs ran wild against them last week, going for 143 and 3TDs.

That is a bad combination with the Titans and King Henry coming to town.

Can the Texans keep it close or will the Titans run away with a W?

Prediction

I was surprised the Titans are only -1 here. I would assume that it has to due with the uncertainty of Ryan Tannehill's health, as he hurt his ankle against the Colts.

This doesn't look great but let's see how the week plays out.

I am however still willing to bet the Titans here, Tannehill or not.

Henry is running too well right now and the defense is playing opportunistic, nasty football and that is a great recipe for winning tough games.

Give me the Titans to take a commanding lead in the AFC South and move to 5-2.

UPDATE: Malik Willis will start for Ryan Tannehill.

I am still taking the Titans.
