The Washington Commanders host the Chicago Bears for this Week 5’s edition of Thursday Night Football!

The Bears flat out look terrible, which is disappointing considering there were high hopes for this team coming into the season. After trading the #1 overall pick for WR D.J. Moore and acquiring Chase Claypool, Bears fans thought they might have the pieces for QB Justin Fields.

That does not seem to be the case. The Bears have tons of issues on and off the field, and Claypool is now looking to be traded. Chicago is a current dumpster fire that I want no part of.

On the other hand, the 2-2 Commanders have shown us great things this year.

Picking up wins against the Cardinals and a comeback win in Denver, the Commanders lost their past two but could get back on track this week.

They got routed by the Bills at home, but then took the Eagles to overtime in Philly, after an AJ Brown taunting penalty helped their field position. Washington lost, but covered and looked very solid on both sides of the ball.

Let’s take a look at this one more in depth!

Sam Howell and the Commanders look to go 3-2 on TNF

Story time! Just this week, while speaking to my little brother he pulled up the Thursday Night game.

Knowing I was writing about it, I guessed the spread and total and nailed it right on the head. Normally, that would cause me to stay off, considering I don’t necessarily view an edge.

But I really do love the Commanders in this spot at home. I think they can cover the 5.5 and even win this game by a full touchdown.

Like I said, I want no part of the Bears and I love what Eric Bienemy is doing as the Commanders’ OC. He’s putting Howell in positions to be successful and find his playmaking receivers.

Just Fields has 5 INT through 4 games this season

I’ll toot my own horn a bit and let you all know that we are 6-1 +6.35u on INT props this year. And I’ve got no problem paying a little juice for Fields to toss one.

As always, do your line shopping and make sure you get the best number available!

Fields has 5 picks in 4 games this year, tossing at least 1 in every contest. He’s also thrown one in 5 straight dating back to last year.

On the road, he has 3 picks in 2 games this season, and 5 in his last 4 road starts, throwing at least one in all 4 games.

I think Justin Fields gets rattled on the road with everything going on in that organization and let’s one slip away on Thursday Night.

Who knows, maybe Kendall Fuller even returns it for six.
