Pittsburgh is 4-2 and has won two straight over Indianapolis and Tampa Bay (in overtime), but they have severely struggled in three games away from home. They are a long way from the Steel City this weekend. For the Saints, after losing three straight, they battled from behind at MetLife against the Giants, securing a 34-27 win after trailing 10-0 early on. Thankfully four New York turnovers seemed to be the difference.

But how will these two teams play across the pond?

Steelers vs. Saints NFL Analysis and Insights

We have a lower total at 44.5 with a spread that has now been stretched to a full field goal. Will it get to 3.5 before kickoff on Sunday? Possibly. So I'll be patient, as I side with the Saints. In three games away from home, the Steelers are scoring just 17.6 points per game, while allowing 22. They've held just two teams to under 20 points this year, and I think the New Orleans offense is going to come to play.

Like I said, I'll be patient on the spread, but if I see a field goal and a hook I'll likely pounce. But until then, I think we are getting a very reasonable price and number on their team total.

Three touchdowns is all we need. These international games are sloppy and unpredictable. I'm fine siding with the dog. This Steelers defense is not as good as they used to be. Offensively, the Steelers pass a ton, but aren't great at it, ranking No. 24 in yards per pass. Plus they are bottom four (No. 28) in third down conversion rate.

Defensively, they are bottom half in yards per carry allowed, outside the top 12 in yards per pass allowed, and are No. 12 in both points per game and per play. New Orleans is No. 11 in points per game, top eight in third down conversion, and second in the NFL in red zone scoring percentage. I do not think three scores is asking for too much.

Pittsburgh has given up four scores in their last five games, and still gave up three to Atlanta, even if it only resulted in 13 points. I see the Saints offense being able to move the ball down the field, we just need them to finish the drive and punch it into the promised land. New Orleans also has the benefit of having a bye week following this contest, while the Steelers host Cleveland in a revenge spot.
