The Baltimore Ravens travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in an AFC North heavyweight showdown.
The Ravens are still firmly in the playoff picture, but will be without their star QB Lamar Jackson for this one and possibly the next few weeks after a knee injury suffered last week.
Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson suffered a sprained PCL during Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos, per league sources. PCL injuries often sideline players 1-to-3 weeks and Ravens' HC John Harbaugh already has said Jackson is "less likely" to play Sunday vs. the Steelers. pic.twitter.com/4ra4KDuUdQ
The Ravens will surely miss Lamar this week, in a tough road contest against their division rivals.
The Steelers are hoping that no Lamar gives the Steelers a chance to steal this one at home, and snag their 6th win to put themselves back in the race for one of the AFC wild card spots.
The Steelers gutted out a victory against the Falcons last week, and will look to build on that momentum, at home, against the Lamar-less Ravens.
Can the Steelers pick up a big divisional victory or will the Ravens bury their rivals and end their hopes of making a late-season push?
The Ravens snuck out their win last week, 10-9, against the offensively anemic Broncos team when Lamar went out injured.
While the Steelers are not offensive heavyweights, they are better and more explosive than the Broncos (a sentence I thought I would have never written when the season started).
I love that the Steelers are at home here and are desperate for a big win to stay afloat in the AFC playoff hunt.
Give me Pickett, Harris, and most of all Head Coach Mike Tomlin to do their jobs and get the job done against their division foes at home.
Best Bet
Steelers -2.5 (-118)
