The New York Giants are travelling to Minneapolis to take on the Vikings in a Week 16 NFC showdown on Christmas Eve.

A Historic Comeback

Last weekend in the NFL was probably the craziest weekend of NFL I have watched in a long time and it all started with the Vikings historic comeback on Saturday.

The Vikings came back down 33 points to stun the Colts in over time and secure the largest comeback in NFL history.

It was not only a historic win, but it also confirmed that the Vikings are the champions of the NFC North this season and they can now play for their seeding in the playoffs.

Kirk Cousins was incredible in this comeback, throwing for 460 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Vikings are currently 2nd in the NFC and now with Jalen Hurts out for 2 weeks for the Eagles, things could get very interesting at the top of the NFC, and also, in the Wild Card race…

A Giant Win in Primetime

The Giants grabbed a huge NFC East win over the Commanders on Sunday Night Football, as their defense was the star of the show to put them one step closer to clinch a Wild cad spot in the NFC.

The defense was fantastic, led by first round pick OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux, who had a monster performance on primetime.

Thibodeaux was fantastic and hurried Taylor Heinicke all night long and made quite a few game-changing plays.

He will need to be just as dynamic this week against this cruising Vikings offense.

In a battle of two teams with playoff aspirations, who has the edge and will come out on top??

Prediction

If the Giants defense didn't play like they did against the Commanders, I would feel more inclined to take the Vikings to run away with this one.

Given that defensive performance and that the Giants need to keep picking up wins to stay firmly in their Wild Card position, I love the Giants to keep this one close and possibly win outright.
