Eagles vs Giants Prediction & Picks for NFL Week 14: A Giant Task

The 11-1 Philadelphia Eagles travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the 7-4-1 New York Giants in a NFC East divisional showdown.

The Eagles dismantled the Titans at home last week to grab their league best 11th win.

QB Jalen Hurts looks like a bonafide MVP candidate and the Eagles offense, defense and special teams look primed for a deep post season run.

The Giants battled the Commanders last week, and neither team could seal the deal as it ended in a tie, 20-20.

The tie didn't move the Giants from 5th in the playoff seeding but they will need to keep collecting wins in the last month of the season to stay firmly in the mix.

It is hard to imagine the Giants being able to snag this one at home, against the mighty Eagles, but it's December and it's the wacky NFC East.

Anything can happen.

Will the Giants pull the upset at home and pick up another massive NFC victory? Or will the Eagles further solidify their claim as the best team in football and the #1 seed in the NFC?

Prediction

The Eagles looked unstoppable last week against the Titans, as they have looked many other weeks this season.

But in a divisional game, on the road, against a desperate Giants team, I am leaning towards the Giants with the points.

The Giants have a tough remaining schedule and have to play the Eagles again, in Philly, to close out the season.

Getting a win this Sunday would do wonders towards possibly not making that final game of the season a must-win.
