The Washington Commanders travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants in a NFC East battle.
As of right now, all 4 NFC East teams would be in the playoffs if they started today.
You read that right.
This division is the cream of the crop in the NFC and the 2 surprise teams of the group face off this week.
The Commanders are one of the best stories of this NFL season, winning 6 of their last 7 games led by QB Taylor Heinicke.
Heinicke has been fantastic leading the Commanders, but the defense has been the true stars.
The Commanders have allowed 21 points or less in 9 straight games. That has kept them in every game and has put them in this position to make a late season run.
On the other side, the Giants have also surprised many by being 7-4 and are looking to grab a few more wins to clinch their first playoff birth since 2016.
QB Daniel Jones has silenced quite a few critics this year, leading the Giants week after week to 7 wins.
The Giants have also been lifted by a return to form for Saquon Barkley, with 992 rushing yards and 223 receiving yards.
In a battle of two teams wanting to keep their playoff push alive and keep the NFC East a dogfight, who has the edge??

Prediction
I am a believer in Taylor Heinicke.
More importantly, the team believes in him and it is showing with their play.
I do think this game will be a dog fight and will come down to the wire but I going with the better defense to make a play and tilt the game in the Commanders favor.
Give me Washington with the points to grab a victory away from home in a tight one.
