The Los Angeles Chargers are lost. The offense is stagnant, the defense couldn't stop a JV high school team, and bringing in Mike McDaniel certainly hasn't elevated Justin Herbert to the next level like some insisted would happen. After losing their opening two games at home, to the Cardinals and Raiders, the Chargers gave up a 10 point lead to lose to the Bills, despite Buffalo having five turnovers. Now, Jim Harbaugh attempts to lead his 0-3 team to their first win, on the road against the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks. I don't like their chances. Nothing is going right for Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers this season
This organization desperately needs a win, but it won't be easy. Not only do they face the Seahawks on the road, Seattle is looking to bounce back after their first loss of the year. They put up 31 points against the Washington Commanders but it still wasn't enough, losing by two on the road. Now they face the Chargers, who limp their way up to the Pacific Northwest.
We've heard people time and time again talk about the Chargers' schedule being brutal, and it's the truth. Things are looking grim for this franchise, as it seems they may have already "wasted" another season by losing three straight to start. Is there any chance they turn the year around with a HUGE upset win this weekend?

Chargers vs. Seahawks NFL Analysis and Insights
Despite the Seahawks facing the 49ers next week, they need to bounce back. Had they won last week and sat at 3-0, my feelings might be different. But Sam Darnold threw two picks that probably cost his team the game. I expect him to be much more comfortable at home, against a defense that hasn't been all that great at slowing teams down.
With the "look ahead" spot involved, I will only be backing the Seahawks in the first half, and I sure hope it doesn't come back to bite me.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is dominating opposing defenses, and I'm sure he'll do the same against Los Angeles at home
Best Bet: Seahawks 1H Team Total Over 13.5 (+105) BetOnline
Their full game team total is listed at 25.5, with the over juiced to about -120. While that is still a play I endorse, I think they should be motivated to get off to a hot start. Quickly prove that last week was a fluke, establish a comfortable lead, and then try to rest as much as you can before next week's divisional battle.
When Arizona played Los Angeles, they scored on three of four possessions in the first half, missing a field goal for 13 total points. The Raiders scored on two of their six first half drives, with two punts, a turnover on downs, and an interception. Finally, last week, the Bills scored on just two of their six first half possessions, but they had one punt and three turnovers. Sure, the Seahawks had multiple first half turnovers against the Cardinals and Commanders, but I've got faith in them cleaning it up.
If they do that, two first half touchdowns is certainly in play. Lesser offenses have been able to score twice, I've got no worries that the Seahawks can figure it out early.
