Buccaneers vs 49ers NFL Week 14 Prediction: The GOAT vs the Rook

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel across the country to San Fransisco to take on the 49ers in a NFC slugfest.

The Buccaneers picked up a HUGE 13 point come from behind win on Monday Night Football against the Saints.

This was a massive win for the Buccaneers, who further solidified themselves as the favorites in the NFC South, but also buried the Saints and put their post-season hopes to bed.

QB Tom Brady was in goat mode the final 5 minutes of this game, which felt like a reminder to the entire league, that Brady is still Brady and he isn't going to go quietly.

Look out NFL. Tom is still here and he's coming.

The next possible victim in Brady's revenge tour is the San Fransisco 49ers in San Fran.

Imagine the headlines that would have been if Jimmy Garoppolo did not break his foot last week and would be out for the rest of the season.

Instead, we get the headline of:

Brock Purdy, the 7th round pick, in his first career start vs. Tom Brady, the 7th round pick, the greatest of all time.

Woah.

On the 49ers side, as I mentioned, Jimmy Garoppolo broke his foot last week against the Dolphins. All 49ers fans saw their season presumably go up in smoke after that happened.

In steps Brock Purdy, the 7th round pick, and he led the Niners to decisive win over a very good Dolphins team.

This game will be fascinating, in many ways and should be a very fun one in San Fransisco on Sunday.

Prediction

I expect this line to move throughout the week so I am hopping on this now.

I watched that entire Bucs game on Monday Night Football and the last few drives against the Saints to win that game were vintage Tom Brady.

It's December, when games mean more and the cream rises to the top.

I am buying into that this week and going with Brady and this Bucs defense to have a great day in San Fransisco.

I could see this line moving to 3 or 2.5 by the end of the week so I am getting in at the 3.5 number, which I love.

I think the Bucs could very well win outright but to lose by a field goal is great value.
