Here’s what’s on the football kid’s menu tonight!
Let’s dive in and see if we can find out NCAA Football best bets for tonight!

- Coastal Carolina +9.5 (-112)
- James Madison -9.5 (-108)
- Over/Under 60.5
Best Bets: CCU/JMU 1Q Over 13 (-130) Bovada
Initially, I thought I would be all over JMU to cover this spread at home. They are coming off their first loss of the season on the road to ULM, and that was a conference game. They’ll most likely need to win out in order to earn a spot in the Sun Belt Championship game. Aside from last game and their 2nd matchup against Garner Webb, the Dukes have been moving the ball. They scored 70 and 63 in back to back weeks, but couldn’t beat a bad Warhawks team on the road. Can they bounce back against Coastal?
The Chanticleers are doing fine without Grayson McCall, and are off to a 4-1 start. They lost at home to Virginia, and this will be their toughest road test all season. I could easily see this turning into a shootout, as Coastal is scoring 38.4 points per game but allowing nearly 30. While I don’t quite have the plums to take JMU’s TT or the full game over, I do see both teams scoring quickly on their opening drive, clearing this first quarter total with ease.
Middle Tennessee State vs Louisiana Tech Best Bets
Betting Odds
- MTSU +4.5 (-110)
- La Tech -4.5 (-110)
- Over/Under 49
Slight Lean: MTSU/LT Under 49 (-110) BetOnline
Now, I am going to hold off on this game, cause we don’t need to get crazy before this HUGE College Football weekend. But, if I had to be this game, I’d probably plug my nose and bet the under. I don’t want any part of either of these offenses, especially the way they’ve been playing.
MTSU has lost 4 straight games, scoring a whopping 12 points per game in that stretch. Louisiana Tech haven’t scored more than 25 points in a game, and are only averaging around 18 per contest. Neither offense is good, neither defense is that great either, so I probably won’t be tuning into this matchup.
Like I said, I lean under, but if I bet this each team would score 50, so since I’m leaving it alone get ready for a 21-17 Bulldog win at home.
UTEP vs Western Kentucky Best Bets
Betting Odds
- UTEP +19.5 (-106)
- WKU -19.5 (-114)
- Over/Under 57
Heavy Lean: WKU -19.5 (-114) BetOnline
This is a game I will also be staying off of, but I do lean with the Hilltoppers. WKU is coming off a loss at Boston College by just 1 point. Since being shutout by Alabama in Week 1, they have taken care of business, winning 3 straight before their loss to BC. Now, Western Kentucky is back at home, coming off a loss, and also a bye week. They are well rested, and face an 0-5 UTEP team that doesn’t have anything going for them.
The Miners have kept just one game within a single score so far this season, getting beaten by an average score of 16.8. While that is within the spread this evening, I see Western Kentucky letting the offense loose, making sure to shake off all of the bye week rust before the rest of the season. Again, I will be staying off, but I don’t think those that want to back the Hilltoppers need to be worried about this large number.
