This classic AAC matchup is blessed with not only an incredible promotional night but also a massive letdown from the Wichita State Shockers. In their previous game against Memphis, the Shockers won outright as 7.5-point underdogs. It was their biggest victory since Kansas State back on December 21. This looks like a great spot to back the Owls.
FAU basketball is holding "Seinfeld Night" and it sounds awesome.

Wichita State has struggled on the road this season. With a 3-5 record away from home and notable losses to DePaul, Temple, UTSA, Memphis, and Tulsa, inconsistency has been a theme. In those eight games, they rank 310th in effective field goal percentage defense, 305th in turnover offense, and 344th in three-point defense. Despite getting to the line with ease, they struggle to convert free throws, ranking 303rd. Their conference performance has been even worse, sitting in the bottom three in effective field goal percentage defense, turnover offense, three-point percentage, three-point defense, two-point defense, and free throw percentage.
FAU is an offensively driven team, ranking 57th in offensive efficiency. They have excelled at home in protecting the basketball, creating second-chance opportunities, and shooting the deep ball efficiently, all ranking inside the top 80 nationally. Despite their defensive struggles, they still hold the 25th-best two-point defense in the country. Fortunately, while their three-point defense is poor, they do a solid job limiting opponents' attempts, ranking 140th in three-point rate.
With FAU boasting one of the best offenses in the AAC and Wichita State having one of the worst defenses in the conference—plus coming off a huge win—this looks like the perfect spot for FAU. And yes, 99% of this handicap is influenced by my Seinfeld fandom in support of Kramer Night.
