The No. 1 seed in the ACC is up for grabs and could be decided early Saturday afternoon at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The No. 1 overall Duke Blue Devils host the No. 11 Virginia Cavaliers, who are just a single game behind them in this conference race. As things currently stand, Duke is 14-1 in ACC play while Virginia are 13-2, but the Blue Devils have a much harder stretch to end this season. Will they be caught overlooking this top 15 team at home? Let's check out our CBB experts favorite picks in this matchup.

#11 Virginia Cavaliers vs. #1 Duke Blue Devils NCAA Basketball Insights

Jon Scheyer and Duke host the Virginia Cavaliers, who have surprised everyone this college hoops season
Duke has three tough games remaining. They host the No. 11 Virginia Cavaliers this Saturday, then head to Raleigh to take on the NC State Wolfpack, and finally end the season in a revenge spot at home against the No. 18 North Carolina Tar Heels. This game absolutely matters, as a loss would give the Cavaliers the head to head advantage for the top overall seed in the conference if they end with the same record.
And it won't be easy. Virginia has just three losses all year long, and although two look very bad, you can't deny what this team has been able to do, especially on the defensive side of the ball. They certainly have the tools to slow down the Blue Devils and limit Cameron Boozer, and I have a feeling they can keep this competitive.

#11 Virginia vs. #1 Duke NCAA Basketball Picks and Predictions

Back Virginia to be able to compete against the Blue Devils on the road and keep this game competitive
Virginia vs. Duke Prediction: Duke Wins, Virginia Covers, Under 137.5
Best Bet: Virginia +10.5 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Ultimately, I expect a very slow game. The Cavaliers are north of 265 in possessions per game and Duke is outside the top 240 as well. There won't be too many chances offensively for either team, which is exactly the kind of the game the Cavaliers want. While the offense has been very good, they get their wins on the other side of the court.
Virginia ranks top 15 in adjusted defensive efficiency and are fourth in the country in opponent eFG%. They also rebound the basketball as good as anyone, and Duke isn't necessarily used to seeing teams that dominate the boards. In my eyes, they rely too heavily on Boozer to save them, and while he did just that against Michigan, I don't have faith in him doing so again. This Blue Devils team has to fall at some point, and with the Wolfpack and Tar Heels on the horizon, this could be a sleepy spot for them.
We've seen the Blue Devils start out slow at home, and Virginia is going to be one of the best defensive teams they have seen all season long. In what I expect to be a low scoring game, I think covering the double digit spread is slightly too many for Duke, and it wouldn't surprise me if Virginia somehow pulls off this upset.
