The top team in the SEC is somehow unranked, but they were the first team left off of this week's AP Top 25 poll. Regardless, Bucky McMillan and the Texas A&M Aggies are fun to watch, and we are in for a treat on Saturday as they host the No. 17 defending national champion Florida Gators. Todd Golden and company have won two straight since losing to Auburn at home, while the Aggies are coming off their second conference loss. Who will come out on top of this one? Let's find out how our CBB experts are betting on this game by checking out their favorite picks.

#17 Florida Gators vs. Texas A&M Aggies NCAA Basketball Insights

Can Florida extend their winning streak to three games on the road at Reed Arena?
Both teams sit at 7-2 in conference play after the Aggies lost to Alabama on Wednesday. Prior to that, Texas A&M was on a seven game winning streak and were alone on top of the SEC. Now they share that crown with the Florida Gators who have the same conference record, but one more loss overall. Both teams lost their first conference matchup on the road, but have since won seven of their last eight, but of course, something's got to give when they meet on Saturday.
The Aggies have more of a chip on their shoulder (in my opinion), due to still being unranked in the national poll. Are they not getting the respect they deserve? Or am I the crazy one thinking they are much better than they are? The Gators certainly have been more battle tested, as they have played the eighth toughest schedule in the nation, but the Aggies are still top 100 in that category. Does that come into play this weekend?

#19 Florida vs. Texas A&M NCAA Basketball Picks and Predictions

Bucky McMillan and Texas A&M look to bounce back at home against the defending national champions
Florida vs. Texas A&M Prediction: Texas A&M Wins Outright, Over 163.5
Best Bet: Florida/Texas A&M Over 163.5 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
The Aggies are going to run, we know this. They rank No. 17 in the nation in terms of pace, averaging over 71 possessions per game. At home, that number inflates to second fastest in the country while earning 75.6 trips up and down the floor. Florida is slower, it's tough not to be with those numbers, but they are still top 65 in the country and jump a few spots when away from home, averaging 71.3 possessions per game away from Gainesville. Get ready for a track meet. I expect a minimum of 75 possessions in this game.
Offensively, both teams are crazy efficient. The Aggies are No. 26 overall offensively and jump to No. 16 in eFG% at home. This team shoots plenty of threes (No. 26 in 3P Rate) and knock plenty of them down (No. 28 in 3P%, shooting 37.6% as a team, 39% from deep at home). Florida is No. 14 overall in adjusted offensive efficiency, but struggle from deep. However, they make up for it by being one of the best rebounding teams on both sides of the ball, and get to the free throw line plenty.
The Gators are No. 243 in FT Rate defense, while the Aggies are north of 200 as well. There should be tons of free throws and plenty of possessions for these offenses to put the ball in the hoop, something they are already fantastic at doing.
