Best NCAA Basketball Picks and Predictions March 3
#16 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Georgia Bulldogs NCAA Basketball Picks

Alabama and Georgia might set a new record in terms of possessions per game tonight
Best Bet: Alabama ML (-118) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
The Crimson Tide have won eight straight basketball games and nine of their last 10, only losing to a phenomenal Florida Gators team in Gainesville. Alabama is a team that dares everyone to keep up with them, and they'll do exactly that tonight against the Georgia Bulldogs, who also have no problem getting up and down the floor.
They are actually the fastest team in the nation on their home floor, averaging over 75 possessions per game. But defensively, they struggle, especially in the rebounding department. Georgia ranks bottom 12 in the country in offensive rebounds allowed at home, and their 3P% defense drops a bit as well. They let Oklahoma go 14/25 from deep when facing the Sooners, and the Gators went 10/26 in Athens, so I have no problem imagining the Crimson Tide light it up from downtown as well.
We have a high total in this game for a reason. There will be tons of offense and minimal defense, but it's tough for anyone to beat Alabama in a shootout.
Missouri Tigers vs. Oklahoma Sooners NCAA Basketball Picks

Mark Mitchell and the Tigers are climbing up the SEC rankings
Best Bet: Missouri/Oklahoma Over 154.5 (-109) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
We are backing some points in Norman. These teams aren't lightning fast, but as I've said multiple times before, the Sooners play negative defense. Missouri is the same way. Both squads are all offense. The Sooners can't defend the perimeter, they foul far too often, and they struggle to contain teams on the offensive glass. However they are very efficient from beyond the arc, an area where Mizzou struggles as well.
The Tigers are No. 315 (bottom 50) in 3P Rate defense, and north of 295 (bottom 70) in opponent 3P%. Oklahoma is going to shoot as many threes as they please, which is a huge part of their offense, and I see them having tons of success doing so. Offensively, the Tigers get to the line a ton, ranking top 25 in FT Rate offense and top 30 in offensive rebounding, which should lead to plenty of second chances and points with the clock stopped.
Ultimately, I have no faith in either defense, but the offensive production should be more than enough to get us there.
Kentucky Wildcats vs. Texas A&M Aggies NCAA Basketball Picks

Rashaun Agee and the Aggies host the Kentucky Wildcats tonight in Reed Arena
Best Bet: Texas A&M ML (-130) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Back Bucky Ball at home. Texas A&M have now lost six of their last eight after once sitting alone on top of the SEC. They are currently part of the Last Four Byes in most bracketologist's projections, and they'll be looking to improve that standing. Knocking off Kentucky would be massive for their resume. And it's worth noting, this is Senior Night for the Aggies. Motivation to get a last win in front of their hometown fans will be at an all time high, especially considering they lost to Texas their last time at Reed Arena, and have dropped three of their last four at home.
Now the Wildcats do have some tough wins on the road this season, knocking off No. 24 Tennessee in Knoxville and No. 15 Arkansas at Bud Walton Arena, but they've got a big one on Saturday against the top team in the SEC. Perhaps they are slightly looking ahead, which could leave the door open for an Aggies victory tonight.
