Best NCAA Basketball Picks and Predictions February 15
Oakland Grizzlies vs. Robert Morris Colonials NCAA Basketball Picks
Can the Colonials get their revenge at home over the Grizzlies?
Best Bet: Robert Morris -1 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Back the Colonials with me at home. These teams already met once, where Oakland won in dominating fashion, as the final score was 96-73. In that 23 point loss, Robert Morris was a two point underdog on the road. After losing by that many, the books have still made them a one point favorite at home. Screw on those tin foil hats and lean into this being a telling line with me.
Bobby Mo has won three straight games, covering every spread, and are 6-2 ATS in their past eight games. Oakland is just 6-5 against the spread as an underdog this year, but they did compete against Purdue and Michigan State, covering those large spreads with ease. However their defense is nonexistent away from home, ranking No. 271 overall defensively, north of 290 in opponent eFG% and turnovers forced, while dropping into the bottom 35 in the country in offensive rebounds allowed.
This is a spot where the Colonials get their revenge at home, and I'm willing to back them.
South Florida Bulls vs. Florida Atlantic Owls NCAA Basketball Picks

Best Bet: South Florida/Florida Atlantic Over 164 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Zip, zip, zip, zip, zip. These teams are going to be FLYING up and down the floor. The Owls are top 40 in pace and break the top 25 in their own gym, averaging over 72.5 possessions per game. South Florida is the same way. They are top 20 overall and top 10 in tempo on the road, averaging about 73.5 trips up and down the floor per contest.
We saw a total of 166.5 the first time these teams met, and it barely stayed under, ending at 164 combined. The Bulls defensive is bottom 100 in FT Rate defense and bottom 70 in offensive rebounds allowed on the road, but they are first and second in the country in those stats offensively, meaning they should have plenty of second chance points and free throws. Florida Atlantic struggles to keep their visitors off the stripe (No. 283 in FT Rate defense), but make up for it by ranking top 20 in eFG% on their home floor.
They shoot 39.1% from beyond the arc, and over 59% inside of it, so I have no problem backing both offenses to get the job done.
Fairfield Stags vs. St. Peter's Peacocks NCAA Basketball Picks
Saint Peter's host the Fairfield Stags in some MAAC action this weekend
Best Bet: Fairfield/St. Peter's Under 143 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
I can't believe this number is this high, but we'll bet the under and say thank you. Fairfield is outside the top 215 in terms of pace, and despite their defense being "meh" from time to time, they severely struggle to get to the stripe, which means little chances to score with the clock stopped. They are playing an extremely slow team who is rock solid defensively, especially at home.
St. Peter's is No. 272 overall in pace, and despite ranking No. 237 overall, they are top 50 in opponent eFG% and top 30 in turnovers forced. The offense is certainly not worth talking about, as they are bottom 50 in eFG%, even on their home floor. Earlier we saw a total of 140 that stayed under with just 136 total points.
Why has this number gone up? Honestly, I couldn't tell you, but I expect a slow, defensive game that the Peacocks control from start to finish.
Drake Bulldogs vs. Northern Iowa Panthers NCAA Basketball Picks
The Panthers are THE slowest basketball team in the entire country
Best Bet: Drake/Northern Iowa Under 136.5 (-110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Drake's offense is absolutely horrible. They are outside the top 200 overall offensively, rank No. 283 in offensive rebounds and barely shoot 65% from the charity stripe. Northern Iowa is coming off a loss to Belmont, and love to play a slow, meticulous game. The Panthers are top 25 in adjusted defensive efficiency and opponent eFG%, plus they are top 11 in defensive rebounding. Offensively, they are bottom 10 at grabbing boards and getting to the stripe.
This is literally the slowest team in all of college hoops, averaging just 62 possessions per game. There simply won't be enough chances for the Bulldogs to contribute to this total, and with the Panthers likely controlling the game, they'll be in no rush to run up the score.
