Best NCAA Basketball Picks and Predictions December 10
Liberty Flames vs. NC State Wolfpack Picks NCAA Basketball Picks

Brett Decker Jr. leads the Flames in points this year, adding 19.6 per game
Best Bet: Liberty +13 (-110) BetOnline
Back the Flames with me on the road tonight. Do I think they win this game outright? Probably not, that may be a little far fetched on the road as 13 point underdogs. However I certainly trust this team to keep things within double digits through the final whistle. First and foremost, the Wolfpack might be looking ahead. After losing to Auburn in the ACC/SEC challenge last week, they beat up on UNC Asheville, winning by 12 but failing to cover the 28 point spread. Now they host a Liberty team on Wednesday, but have to host the No. 19 Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday. Huge look ahead spot.
Now, NC State will speed this game up. They play fast while Liberty is slow, but both offenses are efficient, and I can see the Flames keeping up. The Wolfpack severely struggle to keep teams off the free throw line, ranking No. 334 (Bottom 30) in free throw rate defense. They also can't defend the perimeter, which will certainly come into play.
The Wolfpack are bottom 10 in 3P Rate Defense, and are No. 247 in 3P% allowed as well. Liberty plays slow, but they shoot a ton of threes, ranking top 35 in 3P Rate while shooting over 42% from deep, putting them top five in the nation. The Flames are also top 10 in turnover rate, so expect them to get a decent look every time down the floor.
Ultimately, they can keep this within double digits, because their offense is efficient enough to take advantage of the extra possessions.
UT Martin Skyhawks vs. Southern Illinois Salukis NCAA Basketball Picks

Serbian phenom, Andrija Bukumirović leads the Skyhawks with 15.3 points per game
Best Bet: UT Martin +8 (-110) BetOnline
This line is ticking down, so snag it while you can. Anything above seven points is good with me, but make sure you get the three possession cushion. However, I could see the Skyhawks pulling off this outright upset on the road.
The Skyhawks have some very good wins this season. Against top 150 opponents, UT-Martin beat No. 115 UNLV, No. 118 Bradley, but lost to No. 97 Florida State. Now they face the Salukis who come in ranked No. 148 in the country on Bart Torvik. They've cruised to three straight wins, but now need to refocus against one of their tougher foes this early in the year. This team is one of the best at getting to the free throw line (top 10 in FT Rate) and shoot plenty of threes. They also rank top 75 in eFG% defense, which is absurd compared to their overall ranking.
As for the hosts, Southern Illinois has played their fair share of top 165 opponents, but have not had as much success. The Salukis lost to No. 99 Nevada, to No. 161 North Dakota State, to No. 111 UAB and to No. 65 Memphis. However, they are coming off their toughest win of the year, beating No. 92 High Point by two points on the road. Coming off that emotional win, and looking ahead to playing Richmond on Saturday, the Salukis are in a classic sandwich spot.
This is the prefect game for the Skyhawks to continue to show the country that their early season wins weren't flukes. They are legit (for a team ranked north of 250).
