Merry Christmas everyone! Yesterday we were given the the 68 team bracket for this season's March Madness, so let it all begin. Survive and advance is the name of the game. Teams don't need to cover any spreads at all, they just need to win six straight games, which nearly everyone is capable of doing. Let's take a look at the NCAA Tournament as we preview the madness with the betting odds, some insights, as well as future picks to cut down the nets in Indianapolis.

2026 NCAA Tournament – Bracket & Betting Odds

The 2026 NCAA Tournament Bracket is finally here
The bracket is set, and the odds reflect what is probably going to be a very chalky tournament this season. But could there be any longshots worth betting on?

- Duke +325
- Michigan +325
- Arizona +400
- Florida +700
- Houston +950
- Illinois +1800
- Iowa State +2000
- UConn +2000
- Purdue +2500
- Gonzaga +4000
- Michigan State +5500
- Arkansas +6000
- St. John's +6000
- Kansas +7000
- Vanderbilt +7500
- Virginia +8000
- Wisconsin +8000
Those are the teams listed at less than 100-1 odds to win the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately for everyone, I think we see a very chalky tournament, just like we did last year. Are all No. 1 seeds going to make the Final Four? If I had to guess, yes. But there may be some teams further down on the oddsboard that are worth sprinkling on.
2026 NCAA Tournament Picks and Predictions

Koa Peat and Arizona have the ability to go all the way to Indianapolis in the NCAA Tournament this season
Best Bet: Arizona to Win the NCAA Tournament (+400) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Now, I have five futures already in this tournament, three of which were taken preseason and two that I took very early on during the year. Unfortunately, those teams are only in three separate regions, so I have four teams that might go head to head with one another in the Elite Eight. Let's look at what I've got so far.
- Florida Gators (South) +1700
- Illinois Fighting Illini (South) +4000
- Kansas Jayhawks (East) +3000
- Louisville Cardinals (East) +2500
- Gonzaga Bulldogs (West) +3000
Now, Arizona plays in the West region, so I am sort of screwing myself if they face off with Gonzaga in the Regional Final (which I think happens). Arizona is the best team in the country in my eyes. Despite their lack of outside shooting, they are very balanced on both sides of the ball and have the bodies in the front and back court to compete with just about anybody. Plus, even though they have some freshman studs, they have tons of veteran experience, which I look for when backing teams in March. I do not have any stake in the Big Three teams currently (Duke, Michigan, Arizona), so adding something small on the Wildcats makes sense in my eyes.
However, I need someone from the Midwest region, which is why I am also sprinkling on the Iowa State Cyclones at +2000 to cut down the nets. The Cyclones defense can propel them to a deep run in this tournament, and if their offense is knocking down their shots, I think they can compete with anyone. Ultimately, I am a firm believer that defense wins championships, and the Cyclones have one of the best in the country. Don't be surprised if they limit the Wolverines offensive chances in a potential Regional Final in order to move on and make the Final Four for the first time in over 80 years.
Is my Big 12 bias showing too much? Perhaps. But it is the best conference in college hoops, and I think it will show during the Big Dance.
