Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers roll into Philadelphia to take on Joel Embiid and the 76ers in a cross-conference showdown in the city of Brotherly Love.
The Blazers are desperate to stay alive in the West while the Sixers have their eyes set on fighting for the top spot in the East.
It is a battle of two teams at different ends of their conferences but with the same aspirations: pick up every win possible.

It is getting down to the nitty gritty now as we have come to the last month of the NBA season and both of these teams still have it all to play for in the West and the East…for different reasons.
The Sixers are sitting 3rd in the East right now, only 2 games back from the 2nd place Celtics and 4.5 games back from the top seeded Bucks.
The Sixers have it all to play for the last month and they are certainly taking advantage with their recent play. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games and have won 3 straight games.
If they can keep picking up crucial wins, the race at the top of the East is going to come down to the final game of the season. And that sense of urgency continues tonight.
For the Trail Blazers, that sense of urgency is less for seeding and more to simply make it in the dance.
The Blazers are currently 13th in the West and on the outside looking of the playoff picture, but only 1 game separates the Blazers and the 9th place Lakers.
Damian Lillard is doing everything in his power to will the Blazers to a play-in game, averaging 34 ppg, 7 rpg and 7 apg over the Blazers last 5 games.
If Dame can get going tonight and have another massive performance, things could get interesting in Philly.
And I think he does.
I feel confident in the Sixers to get the job done at home, but I love Lillard to be big tonight (more on him shortly) and keep the Blazers around and cover the spread.
