The Miami Heat missed an opportunity to close out the New York Knicks on the road on Wednesday, but they will get a crack at doing so tonight at home as they host Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series (7:30 pm ET, ESPN).
In Game 5 at Madison Square Garden, the Heat led 24-14 at the end of the first quarter. But the Knicks outscored them by 20 points combined in the second and third quarters and held off Miami's rally attempt in the fourth quarter to keep the series alive.

Will New York Fall Short Again in Miami?
Despite missing out on a chance to finish the series on Wednesday, Miami is unlikely to be feeling the figurative heat ahead of tonight's game, given how well they played at home in Games 3 and 4.
In Game 3, the Knicks shot only 20% from three and 34.1% overall from the field, and the Heat won all four quarters in a 105-86 win.
In Game 4, New York had a better game offensively, but the Heat still won all but the final quarter as they claimed a 109-101 win.
