Hawks vs Jazz Prediction & Player Prop of the Game: Baskets will fall in Salt Lake City Tonight

The Atlanta Hawks roll into Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz in a Friday night cross conference showdown.

The Hawks are coming off of a 30 point drubbing of the Suns, 132-100 on Wednesday night while the Jazz won a thriller at home against the Raptors, 131-128.

It was a good one when these teams squared off in November in Atlanta, with the Jazz grabbing a 6 point win in a high scoring, fun-filled game.

Will we get the same tonight in Salt Lake City?

Prediction

We have a shootout brewing in Salt Lake City tonight.

Both of these teams have the capabilities to put up points in bunches and are subpar on the defensive end.

The Jazz are 4th in the league on offense, averaging 117 points per game, but 26th defensively, allowing 116 points per game.

The Hawks are more middle of the pack offensively, scoring 114 points per game but are bottom 3rd in the league defensively, allowing 114 points per game.

Both these teams will get to their spots tonight, and if they are knocking down their shots we should be in for an offensive display.

Rather than picking a side in this one, that really could swing either way, I am going to roll with the over.

It's high at 242 but its high for a reason, and I think both teams shoot the lights out tonight and the game is close late and goes over the total.

Young is hard to be on the right side of but he has been fantastic recently and is in a great matchup tonight.
