Prediction

In this battle of 2 Eastern Conference foes, we should have a great game tonight and the oddsmakers agree.

This game is basically a pick 'em and rightly so with how both of these teams have been playing and the result of their 2 matchups earlier this season.

The Bulls picked up a nice win at the NBA Europe Game in Paris last week against the lowly Pistons and will look to put together a 3 game winning streak tonight against the surging Hawks.

The ATL boys had won 5 in a row before dropping their last game against the Hornets but things are starting to click for this Hawks squad, especially between Trae Young and Dejounte Murray.

Murray has been especially good recently, scoring 25+ points in 5 straight games and seems to be finally finding his role in this Atlanta offense.

On the other side, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LeVine will look to carry the Bulls to a big win at home tonight and I am targeting one of these guys as my player prop of the game so keep reading for that 😉

The season series has been split 1-1 so far this year and both games were decided by 2 points or less.

This one will be tight again tonight but I am going to ride with the home team to get it done, on the back of a big performance by DeMar DeRozan.

As you can see, BetAlytics has DeRozan as a A grade play, with an implied line of -148.

They also project him to have 31.64 points, so 30+ could be in play here as well.

DeRozan loves playing the Hawks. In the first 2 matchups this year, he had 28+ points in 38+ minutes in both games.

Also in his recent career against Atlanta, he has 27+ in 5 of his last 7 outings.

I love DeMar to take over like we have seen him do so many times and have a big game tonight agains this mediocre Atlanta defense.
