Prediction
We should have a fun one on our hands in Madison Square Garden tonight.
The Cavs are sitting 5th in the East while the Knicks are right behind them sitting 7th. The Cavs are .500 over their last 10 games, and 1-2 in their last 3 games.
They were without superstar Donovan Mitchell in the last 3 but good news for Cavs fans, as Mitchell is set to return tonight.
Mitchell has missed the last 3 games with a groin injury and is set to make his return tonight under the bright lights of Broadway.
The Cavs welcome their top scorer back tonight with open arms, and hope that he can lead them to grab a big win in MSG against the sliding Knicks.
Those Knickerbockers are also .500 in their last 10 games but have dropped 4 in a row.
They have been getting great performances from Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle offensively, but it hasn't translated to wins.
If the Knicks want to keep pace in the East, they need to get back to basics on the defensive side of the ball.
They have allowed 123+ points in 3 of their last 4 losses and can't afford to keep bleeding points, especially against a scorer like Mitchell tonight.
If the Knicks can shore things up defensively, and continue to get consistent play from Brunson, Barrett and Randle on the offensive end, they can keep this one close at home.
It should be a fun one on Broadway and I am going to rock with the Knicks to cover and hang around all game long.
They might even win outright, as long as Mitchell doesn't drop 40+.

I have been riding with my man Julius for a while now and for good reason.
He has been an absolute beast on the glass the past 3 weeks.
If you don't read anything else in this article, read this stat.
Julius Randle has 12+ rebounds in 10 of his last 12 games
Yep. You read that correctly.
He has 14+ rebounds in 8 of 12 as well.
This is also supported by the data from our freinds BetAlytics.
BetAlytics has Randle projected to grab 15 Boards and a projected Line for o11.5 at -199.
That is a 8% Edge and an A Rating! Those don't grow on trees.
In the 2 matchups earlier this season against the Cavaliers, he didn't eclipse 10 rebounds in either game.
But Mitchell Robinson was playing in both of those games and he had 7 and 11 rebounds respectively.
No Robinson tonight married with the utter dominance recently shown by Randle on the glass and this is a hammer spot for me.
For the value, it is worth looking at the ladder as well for Randle's rebounds. I am not 100% sure if I will be playing this but the value is too good to not mention.
