The UFC is heading back home to the Apex this weekend for UFC Vegas 114. They have certainly brought the action with 14 high level match ups lining the card.
No match up bigger then the headlining spot of Josh Emmett vs Kevin Vallejos. Vallejos is taking a massive step up in competition as Emmett holds some of the biggest power in the division.
The Preliminary card is set to kick off with 8 high level bouts as well. I am back once again this week to give our readers here at Betting news a preview of every fight.

An exciting welterweight bout will cap off the Preliminary Card of UFC Vegas 114. Myktybek Oralbai will help welcome Chris Curtis to the welterweight division.
Curtis has typically fought at middleweight throughout his career, but made the switch before his last bout. The switch found some success for the veteran, as he was able to outlast Max Griffin in a decision win.
The welterweight move is not entirely new to Curtis as he has fought at that weight class several times in his career. A big question will be how his body will handle the weight cut now that he is 38 years old.
In a long UFC career Curtis has shined in his pocket boxing and durability. The Veteran has now amassed 11 fights in the UFC building a great resume and going 6-4-1 on that run.
There is no doubt for me that Curtis presents the perfect Veteran test for rising prospect Myktybek Oralbai. The prospect has made a surge in the rankings as of late with impressive performances.
Will Curtis Prove He Still Has Gas Left In The Tank?
Oralbai has now gone 4-1 in the UFC and is currently riding the high of back to back wins. Skipping the contender series, Oralbai got his shot on the big stage right away.
In his debut Oralbai put on a very impressive performance winning by 1st round submission. Fighting out of Kyrgystan the prospect has shown phenomenal wrestling and submission skills.
The only area of his game that he has shown needs improvement is the striking. Oralbai holds huge power in his hands but is sometimes a liability in his striking defense.
This paves the way for Curtis to provide the biggest test of Oralbais young career. This bout is sure to be fireworks and MMA fans across the globe are excited for a great match up.

Vitor Petrino will return to action saturday night to take on rising fan favorite Steven Asplund. The bout will mark the 3rd bout at Heavyweight for the Brazilian prospect.
Petrino made the move to Heavyweight after a tough start in the Light Heavyweight Division. After earning a contract with an impressive win on Dana White's Contender Series, Petrino went on to go 4-2 at Light Heavyweight.
This includes back to back finish losses to Anthony Smith and Dustin Jacoby. Both losses came as much surprise to UFC fans as Petrino was a huge betting favorite in each fight.
Despite his athleticism, perfect physique and heavy hands, the durability concerns began to rise for Petrino. Since the move he has right the ship so to say, ripping off back to back wins at Heavyweight.

Smith is the son of former UFC fighter Gilbert Smith Jr. The connection to the fight game has been entirely beneficial to him by building a great team around him.

There is no doubt this fight is set up for Smith to shine, but You is no pushover. Since Joining the UFC Su Young You has been impressive in just 3 fights.
Riding a 3 fight winning streak, You has shown great grappling and control to secure wins. The 3 wins have came by decision which has raised many questions on You's finishing abilities.
