The headlining bout is sure to be an interesting one as struggling Isreal Adesanya takes on red hot prospect Joe Pyfer in a 5 rd Main Event. The former champion looks to get back into the win column after a tough 3 fight skid.
The Co – Main Event is sure to bring the fireworks as we will see top contender Maycee Barber take on former champion Alexa Grasso. The bout is scheduled for 3 rounds and a big win will propel Barber closer to a title shot.

Featured Preliminary Bout: Ignacio Bahamondes vs Tofiq Musayev Preview – Lightweight

The Featured Preliminary Bout Of The Card
Ignacio Bahamondes will make his return to the Octagon Saturday night at UFC Seattle to take on UFC new comer Tofiq Musayev. The new comer will be getting another opportunity with the promotion after a tough loss on short notice.
Musayev took the call to fight Myktybek Oralbai on just a few weeks notice. It was hard for the prospect to say no to a call up to the big stage, not to mention in his home country.
A big opportunity none the less Musayev was not able to make the most of it as he suffered a 1st round submission loss. Unfortunately The UFC has done him no favors in his second match up giving him a very dangerous opponent.
Ignacio Bahamondes has made a rise in the light weight rankings over the years. A massive body for the division, Bahamondes has found success over some top contenders in the lightweight division.
Much like his counterpart, Bahamondes also finds himself looking to bounce back after a tough loss. The last time fans saw Bahamondes in action he suffered a close decision loss to top lightweight contender Rafael Fiziev.
The loss put an end to an impressive 3 fight winning streak where he finished all 3 of his opponents. Bahamondes has had an interesting career within the UFC going 6-3 in his run.
He has some big wins on his resume as mentioned but also some very questionable losses. At just 28 years old, there is much room for improvement and growth for the Mexican superstar.
The sportsbooks have this fight lined as a very one sided affair and I find it hard to disagree. I believe Bahamondes is being set up with a perfect match up to get back in the win column and continue a run at the title with a great performance at UFC Seattle.
Ignacio Bahamondes vs Tofiq Musayev Odds:
- Moneyline: Ignacio Bahamondes (-280) vs Tofiq Musayev (+240)
- Round Total: 2.5 Total Rounds – Over (+145) / Under (-165)
- Most Likely Method Of Victory: Ignacio Bahamondes By KO/TKO (+165)
Chase Hooper vs Lance Gibson Jr Preview – Lightweight

Gibson Jr Gets Another UFC Opportunity Against Hooper
Lance Gibson Jr will get another shot at the UFC saturday night when he takes on Chase Hooper. In his first attempt Gibson Jr was out pointed in a close split decision loss to King Green.
In the loss he proved he belongs at the UFC level as King Green is a very formidable UFC veteran. Gibson Jr was able to get his wrestling going securing multiple takedowns.
In the striking battle Gibson Jr let his hands go early keeping up with green but faded later in the fight. Cardio seemed to be an issue for the prospect and it remains to be seen if it has been corrected in the last 6 months.
A full 8 week fight camp may lead to an entirely different outcome for him. The UFC has given him a tough task yet again though as he has to take on the decorated BJJ artist Chase Hooper in his second bout.
Will Gibson Jr Make The Most Of His 2nd Opportunity?
Chase Hooper is a talented prospect that was thrown in the fire early in his UFC career. He has practically grown up in the UFC, joining the promotion at just 20 years old.
Now at 26, Hooper has 12 UFC fights under his belt and shown greatness in the grappling. The length and size of Hooper has been incredibly dangerous as he has finished 6 of his 8 wins in the promotion.
Hooper has lived up to the hype of his grappling for the most part, collecting 4 submission wins on his run. There has been one glaring problem that has followed him through out his run in the UFC, his striking.
Despite being a great grappler, Hooper has not shown much growth in the striking department. His chin has failed him multiple times now, being knocked out by Steve Garcia and coming off a huge knockout loss to Alexander Hernandez in his last bout.
Hooper does not take damage very well and is a complete liability in the octagon if he cant get his grappling going. At just 26 years old, I expect Hooper to make some improvements but a match up against a heavy handed striker like Gibson Jr could be problematic.
Chase Hooper vs Lance Gibson Jr Odds:
- Moneyline: Chase Hooper (-270) vs Lance Gibson Jr (+230)
- Round Total: 1.5 Total Rounds – Over (-195) / Under (+170)
- Most Likely Method Of Victory: Chase Hooper By Points (+200)
Marcin Tybura vs Tyrell Fortune Preview – Heavyweight

UFC Debutant Fortune Takes On The Veteran Tybura
Tyrel Fortune will make his long awaited UFC debut at UFC Seattle when he takes on UFC Vet Marcin Tybura. The 35 year old prospect had a lengthy career at the pro level before finally getting the UFC call.
Fortune spent 7 years with Bellator before moving over to the PFL for a short 2 fight stint. Most of his success was found within Bellator, going 13-2 in his run with the promotion.
The Heavyweight division is extremely thin and needing of new life so the late signing of Fortune makes sense for both sides. The Heavy handed heavyweight has an impressive highlight reel with 11 knockout victories on his record.
Fortune has shown his well roundedness as well by adding a few submission and decision victories along the way. He is currently riding a 3 fight winning streak and looks to make a splash in the heavyweight rankings with a big win over Tybura Saturday night.
Will Fortune Pass His First UFC Test?
Tybura will serve as a huge test for the new comer as he is no easy out for any Heavyweight. In his long 23 fight UFC career Tybura has established himself amongst the top 10 of the division for years now.
He has fought some of the best of the best while establishing a very impressive resume. Tybura has gone 14-9 on his run with wins over top heavyweights like Mick Parkin, Jhonata Diniz, and Serghei Spivac.
At this point in his career being 40 years old now, the UFC has been using him as a measuring stick to test their upcoming prospects. The only problem with that has been the fact he keeps beating them, with a record of 3-2 in his last 5 fights.
All 3 wins have come over upcoming prospects and it is no secret what the UFC is trying to do with this match up. Will Fortune rise to the occasion or will Tybura play spoiler once again to ruin a long awaited UFC debut?
