A very exciting 12 fight card awaits MMA fans across the globe tonight at UFC 326. A few interesting rematches align the card but none bigger then the BMF title fight of Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway.

The original match up happened almost 10 years ago so MMA fans are highly anticipating what the current match up will look like. Both fighters recent records are riddled with violence so there is no doubt in my mind this match up will be fitting for the BMF belt.

The Co – Main Event provides another interesting match up of top contenders. Caio Borralho will take on Reinier de Ridder with both fighters looking to establish themselves as a #1 contender.

Main Event: Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Preview – Lightweight

UFC 326 Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Main Card Preview, Odds, Watch Info & FAQ

Highly Anticipated Rematch For The BMF Title

The Main Event of UFC 326 is set to be one for the books. A rematch of current BMF champion Max Holloway taking on the ever so dangerous Charles Oliveira.

The first bout took place over 10 years ago and Oliveira received a TKO loss to Holloway due to injury. I personally do not believe the first match up means much at this point in their careers, as both fighters were vastly different then.

At the time Oliveira was known as a BJJ specialist with high level grappling. The striking was very lack luster it did not seem as if the Brazilian could hang with some of the top strikers in the division.

A question of his heart and motivation also started to arise as fans saw him quit in the Octagon several times. In 2017 Oliveira made a turn in his career and began making very quick improvements in some areas of his game.

The striking got much better and so did his chin, developing a reputation for being able to take damage and inflict more. Once the striking aspect grew, Oliveira was able to round out his entire game and use the striking to set up his top notch grappling.

Oliveira went on to win the lighweight championship and go on a brutal run of finishes showing his real power. As of recent the legend has been on a tough skid, losing 2 of his last 4 bouts including his last loss a brutal KO at the hands of current lightweight champ Ilia Topuria.

Since he has bounced back with a huge submission victory in front of his home crowd in Brazil. It has set him up perfectly for a massive BMF rematch with Max Holloway who has been red hot as of late.

Holloway has been on a generational run, winning 4 of his last 5 bouts including 2 highlight reel knock outs. One specifically to win the BMF belt originally with a buzzer beater KO over Justin Gaethje.

The only blemish on his record of late is something both fighters have in common, a KO loss to Ilia Topuria. Max has shown no signs of slowing down at this point in his career, bouncing back with a big win over Dustin Poirier.

In my opinion both fighters in this match up are slightly past their prime but are facing off at the best time in their careers. The hype behind this match up is massive and MMA fans across the globe are excited to see who will be crowned the true BMF in the lightweight division.

Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Odds:

  • Moneyline: Charles Oliveira (+175) vs Max Holloway (-205)
  • Round Total: 2.5 Total Rounds – Over (-145) / Under (+125)
  • Most Likely Method Of Victory: Max Holloway By KO/TKO (+130)

Co – Main Event: Caio Borralho vs Reinier de Ridder Preview – Middleweight

UFC 326 Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Main Card Preview, Odds, Watch Info & FAQ

Top Middleweight Contenders Face Off Saturday Night

A very entertaining week of media and trash talk has led up to the highly anticipated Co – Main Event. 2 top middleweight contenders will look to get back in the win column after poor performances.

Reinier de Ridder will return to the Octagon to fight Fighting Nerds prospect Caio Borralho. MMA fans have not seen de Ridder in action since Allen handed him a TKO loss because de Ridder refused to get off the stool.

The bout marked another instance of de Ridder essentially quitting inside the octagon. Many fans continue to question the heart behind the French contender.

Despite the question of motivation, de Ridder has proven he has top level MMA skills in his career. He has gone 4-1 in his time with the UFC with 3 finish wins on his record.

The grappling has proven to be top notch including out grappling highly touted prospect Bo Nickal. De Ridder has shown to be very skilled in the striking department as well with big wins over quality strikers Robert Whittaker and Kevin Holland.

The downfall of his game has always been his heart and will to win. He draws a very tough match up here against high level grappler Caio Borralho.

Borralho is coming off a #1 contender fight loss to to Nassordine Imavov. The loss marked his first loss since 2015 and snapped a 16 fight winning streak through out his career.

The prospect highly regards his Fight IQ and study of his opponents but had a terrible gameplan for that fight. He was out struck and struggled grappling the entire bout which made it the toughest of his career.

Borralho is looking to bounce back in a favorable match up here. Through out his career Borralho has been able to use his cardio and grappling as a legit weapon inside the Octagon.

In a match up that is almost sure to go long, he should have a favorable advantage heading into the later rounds. The only question that will remain is if de Ridders size will stifle a good game plan of Borralho early, although I believe de Ridder needs a finish to win this bout.

Caio Borralho vs Reinier de Ridder Odds:

  • Moneyline: Caio Borralho (-220) vs Reinier de Ridder (+185)
  • Round Total: 2.5 Total Rounds – Over (-162) / Under (+142)
  • Most Likely Method Of Victory: Caio Borralho By Points (+115)

Rob Font vs Raul Rosas Jr Preview – Bantamweight

UFC 326 Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Main Card Preview, Odds, Watch Info & FAQ

A Classic Match Up Of Veteran vs Prospect

A highly touted prospect will take on a seasoned Veteran in a big test. Raul Rosas Jr will take on Rob Font in a 3 round bout on the Main Card tonight.

Once again the UFC has given top prospect Rosas Jr a favorable match up on a PPV card. Despite UFC Mexico last week, the UFC chose to save one of their biggest stars for a big card the following week.

The match up is specifically favorable due to the whopping 17 year age gap between the fighters. To make matters worse for Font, it is a classic grappler vs striker match up.

During his 20 fight career with the UFC, Font has always struggled in the grappling department. The Veteran has amassed an impressive resume fighting all the top names in the Bantamweight division.

Font is a pocket boxer that wants to walk his opponents down to draw out a fire fight. The takedown defense has struggled for years when facing a grapple heavy fighter.

At 38 years old now I do not expect much of anything to change in that department for Font. This will pave the way for an impressive performance from the Mexican Prospect Rosa's Jr.

Rosa's Jr has racked up 6 UFC bouts in his short career, despite being just 21 years old. The prospect has impressed many with his grappling skills, going 5-1 in that span with 3 finishes.

Early in his career Rosas Jr lost his biggest step up in competition when Christian Rodrigues handed him his first professional loss. Since the loss Rosa's Jr has made great improvements in many areas of his game.

Including the striking department, as the grappler has shown off his hands as of recently. Another addition to his game is his cardio, proving he can go all 3 rounds with his last 2 wins coming by decision.

This will be the biggest step up in competition in Rosa's Jr career by far. Many fans across the globe are anxiously anticipating the bout to see if Rosa's Jr will finally rise to the top of the Bantamweight division.

Rob Font vs Raul Rosas Jr Odds:

  • Moneyline: Raul Rosas Jr (-270) vs Rob Font (+230)
  • Round Total: 2.5 Total Rounds – Over (-260) / Under (+215)
  • Most Likely Method Of Victory: Raul Rosas Jr By Points (+100)

Drew Dober vs Michael Johnson Preview – Lightweight

UFC 326 Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Main Card Preview, Odds, Watch Info & FAQ

Long Time UFC Veterans

Long time veterans of the UFC will face off tonight on the Main Card. Knockout king Drew Dober returns to fight Michael Johnson in an exciting bout.

The bout is extra interesting due to the fact Dober holds the knockout record at 155 lbs and Johnson holds the Knockdown record. This gives many fans hope this will be a barn burner from start to finish.

Johnson is turning around here on short notice after his bout at UFC 324 was mysteriously cancelled after some odd betting action. Unfortunately this is just as difficult of a match up as his original with the 40 year old facing an uphill battle.

In his 15 year career with the UFC Johnson has made a name for himself by building a legendary resume. The veteran has fought the who's who of the lightweight division over the years despite going 16-15 over the run.

31 UFC bouts is nothing to scoff at, as many fighters do not have careers like that. Johnson has great counter boxing and very heavy hands which adds context to his knockdown record.

The match up is stylistically favorable, as Dober will look to stand and strike the majority of the bout. Dober has also had a very long UFC career with over 25 bouts under his belt.

Once known as the Iron Chin, he built his reputation on the fact he is able to absorb the biggest shots possible and keep moving forward. Through out his career this has helped him become the Knockout king, taking one to deliver two in most fights.

Recently his legendary chin has began to fail him though, Dober has been knocked out in 3 of his last 4 losses. Many fans are beginning to wonder if the years of damage are finally starting to catch up to him.

Dober will have the age advantage here by 3 years but that may be the only advantage. The speed disparity is not wide which paves the way for this to be a brawl for as long as it lasts.

Drew Dober vs Michael Johnson Odds:

  • Moneyline: Drew Dober (-115) vs Michael Johnson (-105)
  • Round Total: 1.5 Total Rounds – Over (-225) / Under (+189)
  • Most Likely Method Of Victory: Drew Dober By KO/TKO (+180)

Gregory Rodrigues vs Brunno Ferreira Preview – Middleweight

UFC 326 Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway Main Card Preview, Odds, Watch Info & FAQ

A Rematch Opens The Main Card

The Main Card of UFC 326 is set to kick off with a bang as an exciting rematch will open up the card. Gregory Rodrigues will square off with heavy handed striker Bruno Ferreira.

The bout marked Ferreiras debut in the UFC and he sure made a splash with the brutal knock out. Ferreira earned his contract with yet another flashy knockout on The contender Series establishing himself as a legit contender.

The Brazilian has gone on to have 7 UFC bouts going 5-2 in that span. He has currently ripped off 3 straight fights and is rapidly climbing the Middleweight rankings.

At the time the win over Rodrigues came as a big surprise and was a massive upset. Ferreira has since proven he belongs at the top of the UFC division which makes this rematch that more interesting.

Robo Cop Rodrigues has been a serviceable UFC Veteran through out his career. With 12 fights in the UFC Rodrigues has gone 10-2 on his run and 5-1 since his knockout loss to Ferreira.

Rodrigues Achilles heel has always been his chin and ability to take damage. Due to his long career he has a lot of scar tissue around his face that tend to open up rather quickly with the more strikes he absorbs.

In order for Rodrigues to shine best, he has to be able to get his wrestling going. As a dominant grappler if he can secure takedowns he is able to control his opponent on the mat for long periods.

Bruno Ferreira has shown some weakness in the grappling before, but 1 big shot can end this fight the same way the first match up ended. MMA fans across the globe are highly anticipating this middleweight rematch!

Gregory Rodrigues vs Brunno Ferreira Odds:

  • Moneyline: Gregory Rodrigues (-157) vs Brunno Ferreira (+137)
  • Round Total: 1.5 Total Rounds – Over (-125) / Under (+105)
  • Most Likely Method Of Victory: Gregory Rodrigues By KO/TKO (+170)
